DAN.COM (formerly known as Undeveloped.com) is on a path to be become the biggest domain marketplace in the world. We use state of the art technology to solve everyday problems buyers and sellers in the domain industry face. At DAN.COM we focus on automating most processes required to buy & sell domains to increase a more efficient and active secondary market for domains.

What sets us apart is our strong focus on product development and customer satisfaction. We leave nothing to chance and every single feature and element we introduce is professionally and carefully designed and built.

DAN.COM is ranked in the top 5 best-rated marketplaces in the world (According to the biggest review platform Trustpilot) and in the domain industry, we're the domain marketplace with the highest rating with an average of 9,4 out of 10 points.

At DAN.COM you will get the highest value for the lowest commission around. Due to our domain transfer automation, we can offer significantly faster handling of domain transactions and payouts (usually within 24 hours) at the lowest fee charged by any domain marketplace.

We've been the first on many fronts and proudly will continue to keep innovating. We were the first to offer optimized for sale pages since 2013, the first to provide payment plans in the form of lease to own and rentals and also the first and only domain marketplace offering free SSL on all domains parked with us for over a year now.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Good morning @Jurgen Wolf,

We have no fixed ETA yet as we have many other great things to come but we will let you know once things become clearer.

Enjoy the week ahead!
An internal balance will make a lot of sense

Weird, anyone else noticed that the total monthly view count on the dashboard does not correspond to the total individual domain views !? Total monthly views says 100 yet add up the individual views....70 !?

Good morning Doofer,

Are you looking at the individual domain count through your portfolio or through the domain menu itself?

Adding up individual domain views in the portfolio, the figure doesn't match the total monthly view figure stated on the dashboard ? Surely the two figures should be the same no ?

Dashboard counter is not realtime, they update it 1 or 2 times daily.

Yes, for many domainers and especially now (when Epik's toxicity is on maximum).

Dan becoming a registrar is something I have been waiting to see...if their pricing is competitive I would use them for some registrations.

So, as I see it, if you have a BIN on a name, it will override any 'make offer' tab (I have spotted responses above). I understand the logic in that, but I want the potential buyer to be able to reach out to me if they so desired.

They would see the bin and the payment plan, but rather than pay 5000 for a name, they may only be able to go 3500. With no clear way to communicate that, a buyer will likely walk. So, the end to this rambling is, do we have a way for a potential buyer to contact us directly? Depending on the time of year and how many renewals I have due, I would accept the 3500 offer.

You can have BIN and make offer at the same time if you want to.

What dan can change/add is the ability to propose a payment plan via the negotiation thread.

Thank you for the response...I've tried that but having a little trouble getting to apply. It is clear I'm doing something incorrectly...I'll try again. :xf.smile:

Seems like there is another option below that, within "Enable Installments", probably need to set "Make an offer" to on too.

I have a question. Is the payment plan (Lease to own) available for leads transaction?

The buyer get contact with me via my landing page and told me that they want to purchase a domain under payment plan and therefore I refer them to use Dan.com. At the same time, I just added their contact email into Dan's leads during negotiation.

However, it seems that the buyer end up didn't buy this domain under payment plan.

I am not sure if the payment plan (Lease to own) is available for leads transaction or not ?
I don't mind to convert this leads transaction to normal one and pay normal transaction fee.
I just want to keep my promise and let the buyer have an option to buy the domain via payment plan.

I just asked them about this. Installment plans are charged at 9% regardless of how they are added.

Anyone using Dan try doing Rentals (Rent this domain)? If so, any success there? Any feedback you can share?

Thanks!

Anyone else receiving FAR less offers now that DAN has implemented this brilliant "strategy" of hiding your minimum offers? Ridiculous.

So currently only Alter has this internal balance and custom withdrawal, the only one alternative.
Near to all services have an internal balance: sedo, godaddy, afternic, daaz...

@Sedo ???
They payout and that's all, they don't keep any funds from sales.
Only parking revenue can be withheld there via minimum threshold option.

Has anyone been able to do anything more advanced with Google analytics and the Dan integration? For example tracking conversions or create events for when someone clicks the call to action button. It would be great to track which domains in your portfolio get the most “add to carts” etc.

Dan support wasn’t able to point me in the right direction so thought I’d ask on here

I can't even figure out how to set it up to see which domains are getting direct type-ins

Any tips?

You use one GA ID for all Dan.com domains, then when you go to GA to view stats the variable you are interested in is Page Title - each page title is the name of each domain.

Try GA >your Dan.com ID >Behaviour >Site Content >All pages >Page title
