It’s a rule in the national media that vaccine hesitancy is worthy of shame and scorn, right up until it collides with their most precious cause, the Black Lives Matter movement.

Hesitant (white) nurses? Outcast.

Hesitant (white) Facebook moms? Shun.

Hesitant (white) Trump supporters? Guillotine.

But there’s oddly been no prescription for the Black Lives Matter crew in New York who are accusing the city of racial discrimination by mandating vaccines for public, indoor activity....

@GILSAN
the precious cause isn't because of any racism ... its for a Communistic Socialist Gov change ...BLM Founders Cullors -Tometi and Garza told us in the very beginning ... "I am a trained Marxist "

First it was White Police... then went straight to whole complete White race ...

2 objectives.that BLM is trying achieve... Change the US Gov to the Communistic ideology of Karl Marx ... Start a race war so that the country shuts down... the UN gets involved on the ground in the US ... martial law is instated ...

Many Black people stopped supporting the BLM after Cullors video of the trained marxist statement ...

Quickie election race barely touched the main issues in Canada: Climate change, Indigenous relations and economic recovery.

I am curious why climate change is a big concern for Canada, which seems likely to come out ahead in the event of global warming. Where I live could become semi-tropical, with wilder storms, even more insufferable heat (it's already insufferable) and tropical diseases. But Canada gets a massive boost in farmland. Not debating whether climate change is an issue, but why would it be a key issue for Canada?

what is one of the biggest pollutants ?? Plastic is... when i was growing up there was no plastic water bottles...most stuff wasn't made from plastic .. it was made from wood..Tin ..Steel .... paper items were the prevalent source... straws were made of paper ... Blame it on the Millennials .. Not the Boomers LOL...

It's a waste of time and emotion to blame people. Plastics seemed a great invention at the time - nobody knew. Just like today, I guarantee that 20-somethings are doing something that will turn out to be horrible for us in another 40 or 50 years. Maybe 5G will sterilize the population, I don't know.

The world is simply overpopulated, so all these issues are coming to a head. I prefer to talk about plastic because that's a problem now, it's a clear problem, and there are clear solutions that we know will work.

I used to think that Global Warming might a good thing for Canada (30 years ago :xf.wink:).

We might actually enjoy longer growing seasons (like northern US) coupled with additional CO2 in the atmosphere, benefits to agriculture seem obvious; however, they are neutralized by the negative impacts of Climate Change (ie. drought, extreme weather, melting permafrost, erosion and siltification etc.)

The world is simply overpopulated, so all these issues are coming to a head. I prefer to talk about plastic because that's a problem now, it's a clear problem, and there are clear solutions that we know will work.

Careful what you say, you'll be labled a 'depopper' :xf.eek:

I agree … their are no real solutions on the table to correct the problem .. the thing with the world pollution and climate .. the world has been well used by man .. like a car with 200,000 miles on it .. that is where we are at right now .. mistakes were along the way .. things that scientist didn’t know 150 years ago … it’s very complicated on a large scale . ..

One solution: if you can maintain a car to 200,000 miles rather than swap at 100,000, the pollution per car/mile over a lifetime may drop by as much as 50%. It's a mindset, not likely to change due to programmed consumerism.

I agree .. but I don’t think it is the consumerism … it’s the greedy bastards that supply the consumerism .. truth is .. they don’t give a damn about the environment .. because all of the money is far more important to them .. that includes Joe Biden .. it’s every bit about the money .. nothing about climate control or the environment IMO

I don't even engage in debate about overpopulation. It's too obvious to be debated by a reasonable person. But there is that dark underside that some wealthy psychopaths might decide to take matters into their own hands. I doubt the Covid vaccines would be used this way because they would target mostly liberal and obedient white people, while Africans are not able to get vaccines even when they want them. I think the population will decline due to war, disease, ecological issues, and quite possibly widespread sterility caused by environmental factors or intentional policy (Uyghurs in China).

That aside, there is no argument at all for the position that we are not overpopulated - especially if we define overpopulation as a population that exceeds the ability of the environment to support it.

I don’t think it is the consumerism … it’s the greedy bastards that supply the consumerism

This sounds like the debate over drug use - is it the fault of the cartels or the fault of the consumers? I think we have pretty much shown that you can't stop something by attacking the suppliers. As long as there is demand, the supply will find a way. This is where we need a kind of moral transformation away from mindless consumerism. Some countries, like the US, need to reduce their consumption of drugs as well. Consumerism is a fairly primitive urge we all have - the need to feel secure in possessions and the need to flaunt our relative wealth (prestige). Look at Instagram influencers for examples of this classic primate behavior.

I don't think it can be eliminated any more than greed can be eliminated. We can stop encouraging it though - a moral society would see these displays as pathetic and tasteless. Most religions lean this way, but people lack spirituality these days - by design I think. It is being replaced by the religion of government.

Thousands of Haitian migrants who flocked to Del Rio were already working and living comfortably as refugees in CHILE and only set off for the US after Biden scrapped Trump-era deportation policy [Daily Mail]

  • The 15,000 Haitians who turned up in Del Rio did not come from Haiti - they came from mostly Chile
  • Chile is the wealthiest country in Latin America where they have been living in modest comfort in Santiago and São Paulo for the past five or six years
  • They traveled up from South America through Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala before landing in a camp across the Mexican border in Tapachula.
  • 'When Biden got in, word went out and they decided, we're coming now. That was the decision point,' says migration expert Todd Bensman
  • 'Joe Biden opened the border so we decided we could upgrade our lifestyle,' the migrants told him
  • They flocked to the entry point at Del Rio International Bridge in Texas after hearing they could cross the border there for free
  • Todd Bensman, of the Center for Immigration Studies, said the lack of smuggling fees has made Del Rio crossing the cheapest on the border

The last few days I've been wondering why all the Haitians being interviewed on TV about their attempt of illegally entering the US, where answering in Spanish, when in fact their 2 most spoken languages, by far, are Haitian Creole and French.

Now I know why!

Leaked documents show Cyber Ninjas' audit in Arizona validates Joe Biden's presidential win over Trump

https://news.yahoo.com/leaked-documents-show-cyber-ninjas-035732726.html

According to the 110-page report, Cyber Ninja's audit actually found that former President Donald Trump received 261 fewer votes than the official Maricopa County canvass and found 99 more votes for Biden.

Millions of dollars wasted on a clown audit run by cyber ninjas to tell us what we already knew - Joe Biden won Arizona.

Biden won by an even bigger margin. :xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL:

Any way, carry on...

All about winning? Like a football match? People get thrilled by an election, but don't care at all what happens in the 4 years in between. But it's all giggles and games while it lasts. We know what comes after decadence.
