I'd like to suggest the following dedicated discussion threads for the following marketplaces.
  • Sedo.com Marketplace (Official thread) Edit: It's here.
  • Afternic.com Marketplace (Official thread)
In the following section:

https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-marketplace-reviews.234/

Currently, both of these marketplaces only have (lots of) scattered threads with especially bugs and negativity. It's always been difficult to find a dedicated thread where one can provide feedback, especially positive feedback and ideas for improvement. I've suggested this earlier in this thread for Afternic.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

We could ask their reps to start them, but most often, unaffiliated members do. Who will be first? B-)

That was my thinking, indeed. I can easily create a thread, but I'm not the right person to create it with the title "official thread" :xf.smile:

Having more of such dedicated official threads will be positive for this forum and for the marketplaces, but I'm aware that some may consider it a "burden" to maintain such official threads. Unfortunately.

My opinion is that it is an additional opportunity to get free input from power users, which may be used to improve the service. The Alter thread is a great example of this.

Just edit thread's title in the mentioned Afternic thread to more positive, how you want...
No need to produce more and more threads...

A couple of things are needed:

- New, neutral thread title
- Fresh start: no legacy negative postings only
- Intro posting by Afternic
- "Official thread", which means that a rep from Afternic takes some more responsibility

I only have time to come answer where I can. I don't really have time to be the official of an Afternic thread. I am happy to help with anything that comes us as usual though.

It's up to you if you like all these scattered negative threads instead of another one.

Follow the DAN model. They seldom post outside their official thread, and actually have time to send an important rep to check up on it. then again— u do you. — you the best solving any problem big or small, one good, consistent stabilizing godaddy force; try to drop by, if able; saves trouble in long run.

And also maybe pin these official threads in the forum…List them in alphabetical order with the name of the marketplace

For fresh registrations that sell on Afternic is there any way to circumvent the 60 day transfer lock policy (such as pushing the sold domain to Afternic's holding account) and thus completing the sale? I've had several sales fall through because the buyers were counting on using the sold domain in a trending category. As a result I've seen pending sales as well as sold domains cancel because of the inability to receive a purchased domain.

So people talking about legit complaints is negative to you? Interesting.

I am the one with a lot of legit complaints about their services, as you probably know.

I have this issue with Afternic, 2 days ago I realized most of my domains don't show up at other registrars and moreover within Afternic itself. I contacted them about it and after 24 hours they responded back and said my domains were under review but I added them quite a long time ago and shouldn't be under review.

They manually listed back some of the domains and yesterday I changed BIN for one of my domains and since then I don't see that domain show up in other registrars etc...

Do they place the domain in review whenever we change BIN? Or we change the floor/reserve/minimum offer?

Has anyone had this issue?
