Subject line says it all. I received an email offer about one of my domains. It's parked on Sedo. I've had this about a year. My thought is reply back and have them contact Sedo and let Sedo handle it from there. GoDaddy estimates it'll retail for $1100. Am I on the right track?

No, don't do that.

First of all, there are many fake inquiries, or more commonly, low ballers. Don't consider it done yet.
Secondly, automated appraisals are all 100% trash. If it's a serious end user, there's a good chance that he might be willing to cash out more than $1100. Maybe a lot more.

Since he's the one who contacted you, he should start with the price. Ask him for him offer. Then most people would generally recommend (myself included) to raise the price with a counter offer since people rarely offer their max on the first bid.

My concern is I'll give a low-ball price. Estibot says it goes for <$100. I don't want to scare him off with a large price, I don't want him responding with a BS offer of $1, and I don't want to shoot too low either. Ughh.... big learning curve here.

Just let him make an offer first.
