Is death around the corner?

Two days ago I had a talk with a fellow domainer about the "disappearance" of the voodoo company
Do you guys think their departure indicates that parking is no longer profitable and that it is a consequence of the death of dom. parking?
Do you think, for example, that someday google will take action and end parking forever, for whatever reason?
We also had discuss this jasonburlin.com/the-death-of-ppc-ads and if someday the ppc model will die (which would destroy parking, google adsense, etc.) and give way, for example, to cpa model
I would like to know your opinion about this too and if it is a possibility

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Traffic from outside of North America, Europe does not pay. Ad blockers hurt more than anything.

The highest number of visitors were from the US...

Catastrophic results.

US bots...

Park these domains on Bodis or ParkingCrew - and you will see X or even XX times decrease in traffic stats.

I'm not obsessed with parking, the truth is that I was thinking about making a 'big' investment and I'm afraid this will end "overnight"

Hi

if you are so worried about death being around the corner
then....
maybe that "big" investment should be put into an insurance policy.

on that's on the serious-side.

all while you're asking if ppc is dead.... other mo-fo's are still getting checks.

it's about risk. if you're not willing and ready, then step off and do the humpty

imo...

I'm going to risk it, I just hope that the death I predict only happens many years from now

PPC model is trending down from year to year...
If high volume and quality traffic - use ZeroClick stream by ParkingCrew/Tonic and be happy.

But isn't zero click a part of the ppc model?

No, it is not a part of PPC.
ZeroClick redirects are mostly based on PPA model (Pay Per Action).

But in the ppa model the traffic doesn't need to convert?

You get some revenue for redirect itself + bonus if visitor does purchase or creates account etc.

You get some minimum revenue for redirect itself + bonus if visitor does purchase or creates account etc.
Will that revenue not be less than a cost per click would pay?

It can be even $1XX per visitor - if action was done.
And you don't lose your traffic, because each visitor is monetized...
Instead with archaic PPC you lose minimum 80% of the incoming traffic.

To feel the difference - always compare RPM...
Revenue from 1K ZeroClick visitors VS 1K Google PPC.

I was only talking about the redirect itself...
I'm going to test that in the next days
Thank you!

To test ParkingCrew in ZeroClick (Direct Advertisers) mode - don't sign/activate the so-called "Premium Ads" (Google PPC).
Ignore it.

I believe that passive revenue from parking domains has long been on the way out. The recent increase in renewal pricing for many extensions is only going to speed up that process. With that said I don't think the actual inherent value of domains is going to be negatively affected.

Instead of parking, look for a way with ClickBank and similiar affiliate networks that allow affiliate URL forwarding..... Amazon affiliate does not allow url redirection according to their terms.

How many domains do you have with them?

I have 2000 names with them but the actual big part of the revenues just came from around 10-20 names, and one of my name can constantly generate $5-10 / day

Even 1 domain is enough...
Try 1 domain with at least xxx visitors daily from the leading countries...

Imagine 1 domain making 300$/day
That would be a dream 😅

$300/day requires 3K visitors daily on domain with RPM $100.

You're thinking too low 😁
Raise that RPM to 1000$ and you will only need 300 visitors daily

Last Sunday I had $159 RPM with French traffic...
So nothing special here.

I have just started parking with Bodis. I have 150 names. I had about 900 uniques in 10 days, no clicks.

Are the clicks being reported straight away or go through validation first?

I think the most interesting aspect- at least for me- is to check the viewings and see which of my domains are the most visited. Cool that it can be combined with Google Analytics.

What about GA combined with Bodis? Are bots included in GA?

Yes, GA is suitable to discover bots...
