The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I was about to say what @gilescoley said ...LinkedIn, good place for connections

I haven't been buying much the past 3 months, been busy with other things. If you have a premium domain, you don't need to worry about the marketplace ...you'll get people knocking on your door, one way or another

are you redirecting your domains to your LinkedIn profile page ?

Nah, I haven't done that ...nor do I advertise / openly shill on LinkedIn. For the most part, I've made contacts via LinkedIn, and had "some" offers through them

Dan. Professional, user friendly & low commissions. Besides, it's where I keep my names updated to keep track of them. I redirect my names either to Dan or SquadHelp.

Afternic. Just as usual...

80-90% seems to be bought by companies/startups.

P.s. Do Epik only allow domains registered within Epik on their marketplace?

You can use their landers (and therefore marketplace listings) for domain names registered elsewhere.
If they sell, though, I believe that they move them to Epik (they certainly do that on NameLiquidate) and new owner takes them over at Epik. The ones I have sold on their straight market were all registered at Epik, but I believe what I expressed is correct.

Thank you so much!

As for me, no sales for the past three months. Possibly due to vacations and possibly due to my modest portfolio. Let's hope things pick up in coming months.

What's the rationale for using afternic when their commission is at least double Dan?

Their cooperation with major registrars (godaddy, namecheap, uniregistry, dynadot)

After you add your domains to Afternic (with "buy it now"), your domains are in the market with price. If you just add your domains to Dan or your own landers you can't display your prices in the other registrars, marketplaces. So Afternic and Sedo has this advantage. (you may also try Alter)

Probably you are talking mostly about ngtls, no? This year afternic is in 4th place, after dan (landing page) whois search and surprisingly, sedo. If we count the revenue from sales to other domainers, than afternic is in fifth place, with less than 10%.

For me:
1) Afternic
2) Dan
3) GoDaddy
4) Sedo

Its a busines network, its the best place to find the decision makers for companies. I also post my names for sale on the page. Ive built up 30k followers in the emerging tech niches, mainly VR, AR, XR, Robotics, Holo etc

Is there any video or course available to follow for building LinkedIn profile for such purposes

I don't think the time window mattered as much as who the buyer is.

I have names listed in multiple places, including my own WordPress landing pages and contact forms. A few large corporations choose to buy via brokerages and some used international law firms to negotiate. Ultimately buyers wanted to buy via reputable channels, not just about prices.

Its all about sharing content to your audience. Its started off small and then just grew and grew. Ive started doing marketing for tech companeis via the page now which leads to a nice passive income for no work at all., its just sharing articles that companies need some exposure for.

Lots of videos on youtube about it...the important thing to remember is, its not connections you want on LinkedIn, its followers.
