You think this is a fair price mate

I think it's super price for seller at this stage.. given Roi.... hold time etc...the name is good..short etc... but it is nowhere even close to some vr names u can buy with these profits...if seller wanted to reinvest.

it's short...and relevanant.. but it is no match for sex..games..glasses...casino...etc..

frankly I think it's a steal for seller.

Value is in the eye of the buyer. Profitability rules the day. At least projections of it.
But on the surface, it does seem to lack quality for the price achieved at this stage.
But the quick Q&A would be to look at the pricing of names in the same space.
Do you think you could buy a better quality name for less money ? They must have tried.
But that is the trick... to find out why someone found that much value in that name.
And the answer will help guide you on your own sales.

But perhaps this stage is farther along than we think ???
Hats off to Lucid for a great sale.
The question that counts would be... how many more 5 figure+? sales this year ?
Moving nicely ! trend ?

So true well said and congrats to lucid on sale as turning is earning . Moving names is always the end goal but pricing is a slippery slope . Let's see what others sales soon appear .

VR Bet could definitely be a 6 figure name some day (100k to 200k) IMHO. It's the kind of domain you put 5 years renewal in and just forget about, not sell short for low 5 figures... Unless you are under threat of being homeless... But even then it would be smart to keep the domain if you were not anticipating being homeless for long 🤣

But yeah I get why many would rather not wait. Especially if you have plans to get out of Domaining...

Fantastic name! It's little bit long, but still has great brand potential IMO. Good luck!

Here is something I have been projecting for 4+ years now...

Apple’s rumored AR/VR headset might rely on a nearby iPhone or Mac for processing
https://www.theverge.com/2021/9/2/2...eadset-iphone-wireless-connection-stream-data

By offloading some of the tasks to iphone/ipad they remove heat generation and battery sizing/weight.
This method always made the most sense to me. But will it be wire tethered or untethered wireless ?
Wearing it on your arm... LOL... as someone made fun of me for inferring that long ago.

Well, not sure. But I wonder what he would say about Oculus Quest. That uses a smartphone chip with the cellular burnt out of it more than 2 years ago. Same chip used in the Samsung phones.
LOL don't matter. They are here !

I got all realities even MetaVerse into one short 5L acronym domain name AMVXR in king.
I have put the letters in the best possible way, from my point of view.

Lucid has made several 5 figure sales I think. I'd be surprised if he hasn't earned 7 figures income from his tube site and he could likely sell the name for 6 figures at any time. He is probably a millionaire now off his VR investments, if he wasn't one already.

Crazy to think that this forum has likely spawned at least two millionaires off of VR domain investments already.

Doubt he's in the 7 figures... He's under selling and dropping his domains. He recently said he was a young domainer when he was making all those claims about how he was going to sell for a 7 figures. Now he's happy to sell for low 5 figures.

I also highly doubt that VR domain sales have been in the 7 figures. I'd be surprised if the total sales even broke past the $700k mark (including unreported sales). VR domaining exploded larger than the VR industry. It was just too early. And it could be that people over estimated how successful VR will become. AR is the industry that will consume the world but VR still has its nausea, screen door effect and other headset technology issues to work out.

Because Apple has such high standards for their products, I'm hoping that they've solved or improved these issues, and reduce the size of headsets significantly, so that the industry can grow.
