Congratulation on your incredible journey and wish you a great success ahead.

If I may ask based on your own experience:

1. What should be an ideal portfolio size where you will have consistent revenue (monthly/quarterly) with a good margin to ensures long term sustainability?
2. What is your portfolio size over the years and your preferred marketplace, landing page and also sweet pricing spot where you have maximum sales?
3. Do you believe in a specific niche area/ sector or prefer the diversification of the portfolio?
4. Do you mainly deal with .us or also with .com?
5. If .us mainly then what motivated you to venture into ccTLD and how is your experience so far?

Thank you very much in advance.

1. Around 1000 domain names
2. My portfolio size right now around 700 ( maximum have 1200 )
Marketplace my favorite hmmmm hard to say.
Based on my sales is Sedo but recently Sedo go down as service himself the reason that i moved/change to Uniregistry ( land page , brokering etc..)
Uniregistry have an advance is part from GoDaddy ( Afternic also part ) and have very very good brokers
I like also Dan but used to acquire names

3. I believe ( or fit for me ) in one keywords in ccTLD most .us & recent i am focus on .eu but also have a niche where i can say without false modesty that i am a little "king" - hospitality niche
4. Only .us for me , .com never fit
5. Because few people notice a opportunity in .us & because a keyword in .com is very very very expensive to be buy even when is a end buyer .us is much much cheap to sell it with a very good price & also to acquire as domain investor
As example Equal . com will be priced 6 figures , Equal .us 4 figures - i paid for it 24$ and sold it with 1000 GBP or Boat.us (my sale) & right now is a app
Idea is the potential buyer ( special from USA but not only a lot from Europe by .us ) have a real option to buy a very good domain for less money than a .com

Kind regards,
O

Congratulations on your great run, and wish you continued success.

I believe .us is restricted to be registered by US citizens / US domiciled companies. Is there any approach in which non-US participants can register the extension? Are any such services provided by any registrars, and if yes, what would be the top ones? Thanks for your time.

Recently all major registrars update settings for .us
Personal i use Dynadot but Epik also good , Godaddy etc..
As non US citizen or non US company must set as business , foreign and have connections US entity
If you received a Nexus complain you have 15 days to demonstrate that you have connections with a US entity ( citizen or company ) its enough a bill of a sale , a domain for example

Thank you so much for your detailed response.
Glad that you find your niche extension at the very early stage of your domaining career & indeed. US is a good extension.

In fact, sometimes with perfect matching words like Zoom . Us they even supersede .com. No wonder zoom .com is currently used to forward traffics from .com to .US :)

Best wishes...

Thank you @Dot.us - you're doing very well.

@Joe Styler Can you tell us a bit more how the several broker teams within the Godaddy group integrate nowadays? Is this a hybrid system, working for Afternic as well? Or are these still several, separate departments?

Technically we all work for GoDaddy. Under that to keep it high level there are several teams (hopefully I don't leave someone out). We have a team that brokers our own portfolio that GoDaddy owns, we have a team that helps customers buy domains that someone else already owns but is not listed for sale on our marketplaces (GoDaddy Broker Service). We have a team that brokers domains for partners, think registry reserved domains here. We have a team that brokers domains for our Afternic customers when you list your domains for sale with us. We also have a team at Uniregistry which works on domains listed at Uni for sale (which also go to Afternic). So yes there is some crossover but that is the main grouping.

Hello,
I paid $ 69 USD for the GoDaddy Broker Service and I NEVER HEARD FROM ANYBODY FROM THAT TEAM, I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY EMAIL ABOUT THAT SERVICE I PAID FOR.

I waited several months and I made a phone call to GoDaddy customer service and they comunicate me with somebody named Morgan and he was very Rude and Disrespectful with me because I made that phonecall to ASK ABOUT THE BROKERING SERVICE I PAID FOR, he was in "charge" of my Brokering Service and he told me that he will send me an email with the Result of my Brokering Domain Service and I NEVER GOT ANY EMAIL FROM MORGAN.

I will NEVER PAID AGAIN FOR THE GoDaddy Broker Service, it was a waste of MONEY AND TIME, and I paid for that service at the end of last year, and now the GoDaddy Broker Service INCREASED THEIR COST TO $ 119.99 USD. Morgan even told me that I WONT GET ANY REFUND of the $ 69 USD I paid for the Brokering Service, and I do want my Refund because Morgan DID NOTHING.

You should talk with Morgan about this issue, GoDaddy can NOT allow this kind of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Thanks,
OmarVG
