I thought of a brilliant (imho) domain last night (tech related) and checked on a major Domain selling site to see whether it was available and it was.
Within a few seconds, before I could buy it, it popped up with a message saying "sorry this domain is no longer available".
I checked who.is and it seems it was registered that same day! Its hard to figure out an exact time as the time given in Zulu hadn't even happened yet.
Am I being paranoid here and is it just a coincidence?
On the same topic, are you ever worried, when coming up with a great domain name (say voice.com) that by checking its availability you are alerting the website owners to your idea?
