Why is GoDaddy support so bad?

Godaddy customer support is very bad and getting worse. Seemed to improve at the beginning of 2021. Past month the advisors are slow and unhelpful giving canned responses. Long periods of unexplained silence. Thinking to leave and use a local U.K. based company with U.K. based support staff. Anyone else having good/bad customer support with G.D.?

GD was one of my first registrars I ever used (along with Name Cheap) ...but I don't use GD anymore. To maintain good contact with your provider is a must, often times a goliath like GD will be under strain due to their size. That said, they've also got the financial means to fix things, regarding service (hiring more people, improved infrastructure ...if need be)

Whilst I was with them, totally fine ...regarding service. Maybe I'm lucky, I don't have much problems with people

Customer support is so bad this month. Many reps cannot converse properly in English. I'm not judging people by their names but 100 % of names are not English, suggesting that support is either all or partially outsourced to a call centre somewhere in a non English-speaking country, which is concerning. Also the information I receive changes from agent to agent. I want to stay with G.D. purely out of convenience but they need to get a grip.
