Inspired by @capiche 's sale (congratz by the way!) and @DomainBarracksRob idea for a showcase thread, I thought I would set one up.

Courtesy of Github:

What is Decentralized Finance?
Decentralized finance (#defi) is the movement that leverages open source software and decentralized networks to transform traditional financial products into trustless and transparent protocols that operate without unnecessary intermediaries. One could envision decentralized finance impacting the financial world the same way that open source software has changed software products.

The below gives a nice breakdown on what it is all about

Thanks, I have used that trick on a couple of other sites and it often works. Especially if the article is a few days old.

The European Commission intends to issue new regulations affecting the transfer of Cryptocurrencies.

"Today’s amendments will ensure full traceability of crypto-asset transfers, such as bitcoin, and will allow for prevention and detection of their possible use for money laundering or terrorism financing"

In a financial world that's increasingly gravitating towards DeFi, it will be interesting to see not only how those new rules will be interpreted, but also enforced.

Circle.com is one of the top companies in the DeFi space, so that may be a hard sell, but who knows.

Jack Dorsey's Fintech company, Square.com was recently making headlines for announcing that they're also entering the DeFi space now...

It's always useful to know who the players are and to keep up with recent developments.

It's why I mentioned them..I keep up and not a tough sell at all.

I've declined offers on both this month
