The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Where can the Category be set? I can't find it in the settings.

Good morning @Dane,

Our apologies for the confusion as this cannot be set yet. However, it will be worked on shortly!

Have a great day ahead.

the correct german spelling would be:

7.654.321,12 €

that is very different from what DAN insists to use
and very strange in the eye of a german customer

but, hey DAN
no need to listen to me

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schreibweise_von_Zahlen#Dezimal-_und_Tausendertrennzeichen

Too many transactions are canceled because more countries use Dollars. We have to add USD before the Dollar sign to make it crystal clear that buyers are paying in USD to solve this problem.

We have no known VAT bug present.

You likely are using either the wrong VAT settings or visiting the page with a non-EU IP address (by using a VPN or Proxy for example) and then you also won't see any mentions of VAT on our for sale pages.

With the information provided we cannot assist you, please reach out to our support and you'll have a solution within minutes :).

Screenshot of @Andrrey showed a repetition of "USD", namely "USD USD $".

It's not about the "USD $" part.

Come on do you really think i didn't test? i tried my own ip, tried 4g ip, tried vpn with no success. I also looked at other sellers who also apply VAT and there is nothing about VAT on make offer with them either. I already reported this bug at the beginning as you can see below. As I mentioned before, my VAT settings are correct .

I like the new Dan :xf.smile:. There are some bugs. The biggest bug I have see is that you don't have a VAT calculation when you make offer.

See:

I have always enabled Vat. I've tried turning it off and on again but that didn't fix the problem.

As you can see in the image below, I also reported this bug last week and they said it would be resolved last week. Maybe you should try a different ip address, maybe it only works with your ip :xf.grin:. And thanks for fixing another bug that mentioned in the image below.

Apologies about that, we missed the double USD mention and will fix this right away.

Don't know what's going on, but def. it's important to reassure the German buyer that they're dealing with a pro market / company. They say: Fix und fertig sein.

"Übersicht über die geschätzte Mehrwertsteuer"

Übersicht über die geschätzte Mehrwertsteuer
"

with
"Sofortkauf 4.888 €
Mwst

I import car parts from Germany. They use € before AND after the sum. More modern shops in Germany tend to use the € BEFORE the number. That's not my opinion it's a fact. Perhaps someone can post a link to the German Federal Government page where it says € must go AFTER the sum? Otherwise it's not worth debating this point imo.

so you think the car part supplier you use
are the ones to ask?

yes that is convincing

glad, that I need nobody to ask when using my own landing page

here is your link
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schreibweise_von_Zahlen#Dezimal-_und_Tausendertrennzeichen

German Federal Government is not the one to ask
you like to ask
random people, right?

You're speaking for the whole of Germany in asking @DAN.COM to place the Euro symbol after the number and I think it doesn't matter because based on usage by German car manufacturers and exporters what you're saying is an opinion because German firms use both formats. Wikipedia isn't a German government website and can be edited by almost anyone. Unless the government of Germany requires a specific format DAN shouldn't need to change it. Furthermore regulation DIN 5008:2011 quoted on the Wikipedia page you shared has been withdrawn by Beuth Verlag GmbH. See https://www.beuth.de/de/norm/din-5008/137578108.

@DAN.COM

How do I remove my old custom Background Header Image from my profile?

I have "color" selected, not image, and click save, and is still showing my old custom background for my "store/profile" header.

I would like to set it to Dans default image.

Thank You
