I would appreciate your appraisal thoughts on OvernightVacation . com and OvernightVacations . com

These would obviously be geared toward short term or overnight travel plans.

Thanks in advance.

Well, every vacation is ''overnight'', that's the essence of it. If not - it's a day trip. Little value, IMO, sorry.

Thanks. An "overnight vacation" is strictly one that happens over one night, not over several nights, or a week of nights.

This thing simply doesn't exist - the vacation that is strictly ''overnight''.
Vacation - a period spent away from home or business in travel or recreation had a restful vacation at the beach.
My point is not to prove you wrong, but just to show that this name is not gonna work. Vacation is at least a few days off - both in mass perception and officially in the tourism industry (which I belong to myself).

The names may not work. But it is a thing that does exist. Priceline has "overnight vacation packages." I'm no travel expert, but I did a little research before purchasing the names. It is not a little thing. Thanks for your input.

I'm going to have to agree with @VadimK Iberica on this one

A vacation by its very nature is "overnight". It is a period spent away from home ...that period is typically longer than a few hours or a day, most often days. In this sense, the marriage of words is somewhat improper. It wouldn't be a vacation as we know it to be, its essentially a day off, at the very least, given the understanding of the word "vacation". In summary: A vacation is a subset of days off, by popular understanding

Tricky. Hope you get something while you own it

Out of curiosity, is your evaluation based on your own personal understanding of the term, or do you look around to see if there is some sort of market? Thank you.

@ownthisdomainnow An overnight trip, a day off ...even a weekend getaway (couple days, maybe verging on the class of a vacation, but not entirely), I can relate to that

A vacation is a subset of "days", not just by my own personal understanding of it, but by others. Of course there's a market for overnight trips / weekend getaways, I'm only criticising the word "vacation" by which others understand it to be, which may include any prospective buyer - Nothing more

Hope you sell it

Thank you for clarity. So if I understand you correctly, you would see a name like OvernightCabin differently because it wouldn't carry the same connotation as vacation?

I would, yes. If you are literally just having a night in a cabin, you're having a one night stay ...you don't consider a one night stay a vacation - Its a one night stay

''Overnight vacation packages'' is the same as ''boarding process'', ''rain event'' or ''emergency situation''. Here, George Carling knew better:

@jhm
you gonna love it too.

Actually it isn't even close to the same.
