Please share what experienced domainers consider a good indicator when it comes to monthly visitors. Also how many months to wait before taking avg monthly visitors?

I am moving most of the domains from Sedo (due to not so good experience) to DAN/BODIS, it is only about two months. Please share ideas and any other indicators that can help in deciding whether to renew a domain for long term.

Hi

when parking for ppc,
then the number of monthly visitors may not be a true indicator.... unless those visitors are clicking on ads or making offers or inquiries.
in other words, you can have 1000 visitors a month, but if none of them click ads or make offers, then the traffic is useless
on other hand, you could get 20 visits a month and 5 clicks, where each click averages $0.53

i recently moved some names from other platforms to sedo and saw slight increases in EPC.
so, it always depends on the "actual names" in question.

below is an old thread that asks similar question:
What is your usual criteria for traffic domain renewal? - NamePros

imo....

If your domains are not making PPC money at SEDO, they probably won't anywhere else. Most domains do not have type-in traffic. You need to promote them.

Make sure you have enabled "mls" on your domains and they will show up on websites like Godaddy, Crazydomains, etc.

Example: You purchase "geodrones.com" and park it at SEDO with MLS enabled, if someone tries to register geodrones, they'll see it as registered but available for purchase.

Otherwise, they'll just see it's unavailable.

I am aware about Sedo MLS and parking revenue is not end goal for my domains. I want to hold on to good domains for longer period or till solid offer arrives.

Can someone still share what strategy they follow wrt my original question? Any rough analysis or avg. count?

Traffic is irrelevant for most enduser sales.
Forget this indicator.

Traffic means nothing even if we are talking about about expired domains.
An indication (but not a fair value) can be Estibot to understand if you have good domains.
xxxx$ evaluation means you are in the right way; xxx$ and below means probably reg fee.

Estibot is just for fun or for amateurs.

True indicator: offers.
If no inquiries within 1-3 years - then usually no sense to keep such domains.
