Hi Everyone,

What are we thinking about Aparkments.com? My thoughts are long term storage for your car, apartments with parking garages attached, or perhaps a site that shows you where all the nearest parking garages are?

Another thought is a platform where you can sell your parking spaces. I know where I am from in Boston, a parking spot on the street can cost easily 300k

One letter away from Apartments is also appetizing for me. In this case I think the plural actually helps.

Logo below to help visualize.

P.S. I know this one is a stretch, but I want to say A for effort on this one :)

As always all opinions are welcome!

Thanks!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I mean, I get where you are going but it is completely made up term worth reg fee on its own.

You have to sell someone on the entire concept to make the domain have any value.

When searching for the singular term (aparkment) in Google, I see two types of results, and it doesn't have to do with parking cars.
  • Typos of the word "apartment"
  • Architects & project developers using this term for apartments with indoor parks, etc.
I agree with Brad that it's not a common word in existence.

P.S. I know this one is a stretch, but I want to say A for effort on this one

Absolutely.

Hope you will find an end-user in the Architectural or Real Estate fields.

It can probably be used for one (local) project only, so price wisely.

Something is wrong with this word. Can't really logically explain what, but this typo is a bit awkward. But I hope you sell it!

It needs a new logo, without the car, and you will be hooked :xf.grin:

Yes, it could be in reality - to create some nice logo punch. But for me it sounds more like ''aparkar'', or ''aparcar'' in Spanish - to park. Like a name for car parking. At the same time aparkar.com is an existing site for domain parking.
But generally speaking - it could be another problem of this word - too many ideas come to your mind when you hear it. Just IMO.

Certainly. This one is highly creative and will not be a Category-killer or Category-defining domain anytime soon, and OP is fully aware of it. Fortunately, there are always people^warchitects in this world who think the exact same way and will appreciate such creative combinations. With a lower price point of say (what shall I say...) $599-$799, I can imagine that this domain gets sold, perhaps even to those who have registered the singular name at the end of 2020, and want to have the matching plural name :xf.smile:

Hi everyone, thank you all for your responses. In my years as an entrepreneur/business developer I have turned crazy ideas into realities, hence why you will see me post some rather obscure domains sometimes. I have a hard time looking at domains from a domainers perspective and instead look at them from a biz dev stand point. I am learning now that these are two entirely different perspectives. I only buy domains that I myself can picture being used for an end product. Whether or not an end user sees the same vision as me is a different story :) . With that being said, you all make excellent and valid points and I appreciate the feedback.
