Hmm...I wonder what is going on there.

Shane has always been not afraid to say what’s on his mind.

We’ve never spoke, @Domain Shane, but welcome “cancel culture”?

Curious what Shane does from here.

Wishful thinking. This isnt facebook.
You cant “delete” only “suspend”

In Shane’s case, not sure if it’s “indefinite” or predetermined since noone knows going on, but i tend to lean towards i’m on Shane’s side.

all too common these days big media giants.
Thanks never had Twitter, under rock, i kno :)

It's hard to be on anyone's side without knowing why.

For some people there is too much moderation for others there is too little. Social media companies are really in a no win situation.

i think they’re too trigger happy,
especially wit censor opposing Political beliefs.

Thankfully, this one seems; “Political-free,”
they probably felt he was “too mean.”

“Always something.” should be a last resort, Twitter has become mad with power imo.

GL Domain Shane! Going to laugh if he told someone his domain was a 💩 domain.
Especially if it’a a non-com ext.
Admit, some people spam their dn, twtr Brad. Just speculating, we have nothing to go by.

If personal… Who started? Again, Shane side too many “safe space” social warriers thes day

My sister worked as a content supervisor overseeing moderators for over a year at a major social media company.

In that company complaints that came in that were not clear if it's a violation or not. It was forwarded to a supervisor. The moderator always saw the outcome so they could learn.

The supervisor knew who escalated the report and based on that some supervisors felt pressured to ban accounts or issue a warning, this is why you see no consistency.

If the moderator is a single mom and someone reported a post that was a joke about single moms the supervisor especially if male would have no choice to suspend the account or he will quickly be called a sexist or even a lot worse.

If the moderator that reported is of a certain race or religion and the post in question was a joke or what some might consider "insensitive" (very broad word) the supervisor has no choice but to suspend or issue a warning or the moderator will feel under attack.

In 2018 right before she quit they started to not include the name of the moderator when escalating. They undid that less than a week because moderators were breaking down and claiming the supervisors are siding with abusers and are not sensitive to their race, culture, religion, background, beliefs, struggles.
