I have read about it somewhat, but it seems again like some conservative talking point to get outraged over.

As long as they keep teaching the actual history of America from the founding to the current day, which includes racism, slavery, oppression of Native Americans, etc. that is fine.

You can't just gloss over the past. That is the actual history, which actually happened.
I don't care if someone feels bad about it. Not teaching that here is like not teaching about Hitler in Germany.

The good and the bad should be taught. That is how history works.

Can you explain what "critical race theory" is exactly? What are they not supposed to teach about in schools?

The party that is so Patriotic, and believes in the Constitution so much, many of them tried to overturn an election and end democracy.

I know a lot of people who are liberals (and conservatives) and I don't know even one who is pro communism or Marxism. I think you guys are really overstating these beliefs.

I am not aware of any actual plan, other than being against Obamacare. Trump said a plan was coming in 2 weeks for 4 years.

the agenda of Critical Race Theory is not teaching history .. it’s teaching a child the irrelevance of their own culture .. it doesn’t have to do with the history of slavery .. Native Americans .. Asians .. Latinos … it’s one footprint .. that each culture is the exact same no matter what your race is .. which is absolute perfect world before humans were created would be ideal .. but that is not the case … we have different colors of humans and different cultures … they will never compile as one culture .. it’s ridiculous for anyone to want all the cultures to compile as one culture …

Again, it is not really something I know that much about.

I care about history though.

I support teaching history, both good and bad. If it makes people feel bad then tough shit.

People need to learn about the good and the bad. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

I had never heard the word Marxism on US soil being commercialized… Until I saw BLM Co- Founder Patrisse Cullors say … “I am a trained Marxist” .. then saw it being published on signs in Atlanta .. Washington DC .. Portland Oregon … Chicago .. by protestors .. so I think I am pretty sound when I say their are some people extremely serious about a Marxist America …

Marxism and communism are very minority positions. 90% of the people supporting it probably don't even know what it means.

The same people are for it, but also investing in meme stocks and crypto. That type of free market stuff would not even exist under those type of regimes.

Well, that plan never was supported by the majority. It is a plan from one senator.
I don't know much about it as it was never seriously considered.

Trump never came out with any comprehensive plan.

They had the presidency, senate, and house and were able to do nothing other than just keep bitching about Obamacare.

I don't know much about him, but there are lots of reasons to hope for someone better than Trump. Another huge problem with Trump is that he has no core values, but flits here and there. He can be just as Big Government as the Dems. He is also not concerned enough about the overreaching power of the state. He didn't pardon Snowden and Assange on his way out, when he could have easily done so. He didn't have the courage to try to take down Big Tech and stop their strangling of democracy. There is never any telling what he might impulsively support.

I don't trust any politicians, but it would be nice to see one who really gets it and has the courage and competence to follow through.
