A 1000 hectares (approximately what is grown in Switzerland) is roughly a 1000 rugby pitches - not big at all in the grand scheme of things....

It's a turnip domain but disguised as.........cabbage

Turnip is from the same family as cabbage, I'm cracking up - done more reading up cabbages in the last few days than is healthy......

op if you already have your mind set on something why bother to open the thread ? I'm genuinely curious not trying to bash you ^^
for me i know I'm a emotionally attached to my names so i hardly ever ask for a second opinion or open a thread in the appraisal section one thing for sure it will make the chances of you selling the name here on namepros slim to nothing for any kind of money

Thanks...

I understand your point...

Most domain guru don't used to open appraisal thread... Because there is some disadvantage especially if you are to sell such name here at namepros...

Some will even conderm your name to the extend that you will just loose interest to Renew such a name in the future...

Any name can sell.

However, having said that, I don't like the name personally for several reasons:

1. Not much of a sales data for both the keyword and the extension.

2. If the .org and the .net sold for that little (whether end user or reseller), then I don't want it because 9 times out of 10, other extensions can't do better than those two. And I am not in this business to make low xxx sales.

3. When considering cctlds, .io, .de, .co, .co.uk are the way to go. Even then, subpar names in those extensions are hard to sell. Heck, even subpar names in .com are hard to sell. How much more .ch. Don't stack the odds against yourself.

Now, if you were from Switzerland and you had Pay.ch, by all means keep it. Even if it doesn't sell, you can always start a business on it.

Note that an appraisal at the core is mainly people's opinion. It's why a rejected name on SH could be accepted at BB and vice versa.

Best of luck with cabbage.ch

Wish you success, but you're not going to get any more opinions from others, I guess.
