"Revolution" is there for many years, including the idiotic Estibot.

I wonder if their marketplace work. Phenomenal company.

Without the registry on board, the "forever registration" is nothing.

It is just some marketing BS where they take in actual money now for promises decades later...Promises that might or might not be fulfilled.

i just sold a name on epik for $2,500.

It’s my highest sale. Phenomenal support, escrow faster than the speed of light, Min. fees

The best part, no 3rd party escrow. ❤️ epik! saved me soo much; wish found em sooner.
One day, they will be known as the first to encourage perpetual ownership of your asset, instead of stuck in that “rent payer” mentality.

@Rob Monster you have amazing company.
I just wish you posted here more in NP!
Still post more than all other Registrar ceo :)

Epik and @Rob Monster and crew actually care. That's what set them aside from others. When's the last time you called GoDaddy and the CEO got on the phone to help you out with a minor issue? (Even if you own only one domain.)

I'm sorry but this aint nothing new. And Estibot is so useless....

If only newbies would knew.

What about ip whitelisting?

What about ip whitelisting?

It's available at other registrars since long time ago. E.g. Name.com, or Dynadot (requires 2FA if ip is different so this is even better).

Epik has 2 factor authentication + ip whitelisting. So is it 3 factor authentication?

Thanks for the thread.

The last 3 years since coming back to running Epik Holdings (aka Epik.com) full-time in August 2018 have been among the most enjoyable and intense years of my life. I continue to see great potential for the domain industry as the world becomes a lot more digital, and also as more parts of the world taste prosperity.

As context for this thread, I will share a few thoughts about some of what you might have noticed to be "the Epik difference". Much of what people notice is rooted in culture and philosophy. Long story short: we simply combined modern tech with old school values. It works. Some key ideas:

- Love thy neighbor as thyself. Treat all who come into your path with humility and compassion with the heart of a servant knowing we are all in this together. Do the right thing even when nobody is looking.

- Co-create abundance. Overcome scarcity mindset. Make the pie bigger. Share what works. Teach a man to fish. Shoot the moon. If it can be free, make it free: http://epik.com/free

- Empower truth not "anything goes". We apply discernment knowing that truth is worth fighting for. At the same time, we know that some are misguided or unenlightened.

- Reinvest without ego. We Build, Partner or Acquire and then scale what works. We have done 8 acquisitions in the last 3 years. Many deals have not been announced yet.

- Keep innovating: We are among the first to bring secure leasing, crypto escrow, domain micro-lending, and soon domains as NFTs as the DeFi economy touches domains. More here at Epik labs.

It has been a privilege to work with many of you. Thanks for the opportunity to empower.

@Rob Monster ,

Hello Rob, I am glad to see that everything is going well for you and Epik,

Have you considered providing an "Outbounding Service"

That is for your staff to promote a certain domain name through email (or social media) to a limited pool of qualified end users that might find the domain useful for their company in a certain Industry.

There are many domainers who might have some useful domains for specific end users, but don't have the skills to promote their domains to them and so they might be happy to see you provide an "Outbounding Service" (That includes me :xf.wink::angelic:)

(This would be different than the Broker Service that many places already provide which is used after the buyer shows interest in the domain.)

IMO

We are looking at acquiring a contact center. We recently deployed a worldwide self-hosted VoIP phone system for routing local phone numbers inexpensively. We had meeting this morning to discuss the next steps for scaling the ability to both inbound and outbound so that staff that are not handling inbound can then be used for phone-based outbound that is programatically targeted. So, yes, working on it. The recent hire of Mike Roth as EVP Operations, is allowing some acceleration in this area.

That's great,

I'll wait for the Epik Outbounding Service to be announced,

I have a few Industry specific domains that I like to be able to do some professional Outbounding for.

IMO
