Hi @Nick R
I participated in SAV auctions and won, however SAV is not charging my card after winning and I am even losing the domains after winning them.
Since yesterday my account is also not allowed to participate, when my card is working.

I got an email with the error : GATEWAY REJECTED.
I also reached out to support and some ABIGAIL just copy pasted a canned message.

I dont want to lose my domains after winning them, can you charge my card and get my domains?

Aishwin

@alcy

In general right now, most tickets are being picked up within 1 business day it not the same day. We are closed for Memorial Day on Monday so there may be a bit of a delay getting to tickets early next week though.

Hi @Nick R

I also reached out to support and some ABIGAIL just copy pasted a canned message.

From an enduser point of view I will state that generally it is 2 to 3 days to get a response and generally YES it is a canned response that fails to solve or address your issue.

Second, today I tried to register two coms that were available as a result of WHOIS search and your system returned not available on both of them. I registered both of them at Dynadot two minutes later.

I decided to work with SAV.COM for the first time and placed a backorder for a domain name.

The domain was successfully captured by SAV and subsequently put up for auction. The backorder I applied was not transferred to the auction, despite it being written on the "How auction works" page.
If my request won't be processed automatically when the auction starts, then what's the point of making a backorder?!

Even weirder, as you can see in the screenshot below, two different users were able to bid the same amount at the same time.
If the auction had ended at this very point, who would have won the domain name?
Would you split the domain traffic in two so that one visitor goes to one owner's site and the other visitor to the other owner's site?

Especially after reading this topic, I have to say that I have big doubts about whether the bidders are real accounts or not:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/sav-auctions-advice-dont-bid-against-user-s_n.1197400/

Considering that your intentions are good, I humbly recommend you to work with more successful engineers and managers to strengthen your place in the market.

@alcy - Please reach out to our support team for any clarification needed. It sounds like an email was sent to you by mistake and we are just asking you to disregard but, they can clarify.

@aishwin - A Gateway Rejection means that our Fraud Detection blocked your transactions. Here is why, and what to do about it: https://help.sav.com/kb/en/article/resolving-payment-issues
You can also request a review of your account to bypass this in the future by doing this: https://help.sav.com/kb/en/article/requesting-to-bypass-fraud-detection-gateway-rejection

@darb - Let me take a look at the ticket, get the actual domains, pull the logs and see what is going on. Please DM me your ticket number.

What do you mean by this?
If a domain has multiple backorders, it goes to auction. The first one to backorder usually is the only bid that gets transferred. And you will need to go and put in a Bid higher than the minimum. That is how it works with SAV

That is because bidder d_a had a Max Proxy of 250 and a_h also happened to bid 250. In this case d_a will win unless a_h put another higher bid.

well I asked them to explain..just got ruddish reply that it was mistake so basically nothing more to clarify.

which is ok as long as none of my names are affected. still I'd appreciate if yer people in case of such mistakes take a minute to write clearly what's going on so.clients aren't stuck puzzled.

u see at least for me due to such abundance of bugs and problems like basically no registrar in history...u have now developed with yer clients this particular sensitivity or expectation that with sav There is way more chance of something going wrong vs not going wrong.

a bad path to go down on.. when comes to client relations

I personally do not feel this way toward any other 15 registrars I'm on. ie..always expecting the worst from u... not best..

just too many problems and bugs..over too long time..and damage is done

I mean, the back order I made wasn't transferred to the auction page.
The bid list was empty when the auction started. It was opened from the starting amount of 0.99 and I had to join all over again. Even if other members had already back-ordered, their participation was also not appearing on the bid list.

That is because bidder d_a had a Max Proxy of 250 and a_h also happened to bid 250. In this case d_a will win unless a_h put another higher bid.

Well, wouldn't it be wiser to warn the person who will bid equally, "you should bid more than this amount" in order to avoid bid conflicts?

i won a domain i added funds in my account but only that transaction was failing even though there was funds in my account, yesterday to make sure it does not fail i added more funds, but i was never charged and my account was restricted and name was reauctioned, other auction payment went through and i got the domains, can you please unresrict my account , please make a section in my account where i can pay manually for the name like other auction platforms incase of a payment failure. it so confusing as you do not see the domain even in auction account the names you won, please rectify the issue and un restrict my auction account.

I get a reply to wait 30 days it's not fair, all my other auction payment went thru properly...

@Nick R

Thanks,

Hi @Nick R ,
I sold a name two days ago and immediately sent the auth code to the end user. He initiated transfer immediately but I am yet to receive an email from sav to confirm this transfer. Whois shows the domain is pending transfer but no email from sav and no confirmation link on my sav dashboard. Can you fix this?

In my experience at this registrar, I can't make a glue records. I have to provide a photo of the credit card used to pay for the domain.
i really confused, this is uncommon practice in domain industry.

then i transfer to dynadot, i can easily registering glue records.

stupid me just because it's cheaper by just a few cents, I sacrificed safety and reliability.

Not new to SAV but new to selling domains on there.

I sold a domain over a week ago and now, the funds are sitting pretty on the "Available Balance" tab in the marketplace.

Must I withdraw the funds immediately or can I let it sit there while I sell more domains and wait until the point I want to withdraw all of it? Is there a penalty for not withdrawing your funds after you sold a domain?

I await your response.

When will you allow us to use the marketplace earning to register more domains?
Is it too difficult to introduce? Namecheap Dynadot always allow that.
Why dont you?!

dude..did u come from mars.last nite..

nc and dd are registrars from start

dan is marketplace from start

anyway even if dan does it one day it will be hard to offer better deals than others. so most people don't give crap about registering names thru dan

what people do care for is more like credit system...store earnings on dan..use it to buy from market.. or withdraw to bank..pp..btc... when u want..and how much u want

Hello All

It looks like a few people on here have DMd us with ticket numbers - Thanks for that! Everyone has been responded to. If there is a specific question or a specific ticket you do want us to look into just DM us the details and we would be happy to take a look. Just a reminder that our support team is in Monday - Friday (aside from US holidays) and aims to respond to all tickets in 1-2 business days. While we are happy to chat with anyone on NamePros, it is not an official support channel our team monitors, and replies may take a week or so depending on our schedule. Sav support is almost always the faster approach currently.

A Few Updates:

Over the weekend we had an internal SSL certificate that is used to connect to a few registries expire which caused domain transactions to not get processed properly. Any registration/renewal that did not get processed was automatically refunded by the system as designed when any issues occur. The issue was discovered, and promptly corrected Monday morning and we are working to update our processes to ensure it does not happen again.

We rolled out an update to our Afternic Fast transfer integration yesterday as well. Now a domain can be opted into Afternic FT at any point and Sav will just "hold" sending the confirmation to Afternic until the 60-day transfer-in or new registration lock is lifted. This should prevent the daily emails and make the system much simpler moving forward.

Hei @Nick R , I won vetgenius dot com in sav auction on 2nd june. I received confirmation mail for winning the auction, and my balance got debited as well. I just checked today that domain was listed with different user. Maybe he renewed it or something, but can you please refund my debited balance.
