Net Neutrality? Should there be Censorship here as well? Are they influenced by big brothers fb , twitter? Isn't is narcissistic to do so?

Your opinions plz. And mods plz don't harm me and this thread.

There’s a point at which discussions are just beating a dead horse. We don’t really need three different off-topic threads all debating the same thing for a year, especially when they just turn into shouting matches. If a discussion has gone on that long without anyone changing their views, it’s just an unnecessary administrative burden.

We’re a small team, and the majority of our time should be spent handling matters that are directly relevant to domaining. Unfortunately, there’s a point at which those threads just become too chaotic.

Furthermore, we do expect people to conduct themselves professionally. While we understand that people can get emotional about these issues, a year is long enough.

Most social networks handle these situations by taking a stance: one side of the debate is completely censored. We haven’t done that, and I was personally getting tired of both sides DMing me to tell me how awful NamePros is for censoring the truth or not censoring lies.

When both sides are equally dissatisfied with our moderation, I’d say we’ve done a pretty decent job of remaining neutral. We don’t care what opinion you have as long as you present it professionally, and NamePros has long been home to people of conflicting political and philosophical views.

The threads are still there. Whatever we removed during the course of debate remains removed; that was typically anything that was exceptionally unprofessional. Other than that, statements either side made remain visible.
