What is the best #software to monitor a domain that you're interested in buying? So that you are notified the second any change is made to the name listing price, offer type, marketplace availability, ownership, sale or D.N.S. // nameservers. This is a follow-on to the thread from last week Within 3 minutes of listing at Sedo. 3k sale posted by @Revisiting. @Future Sensors gave some good advice and I found out that you can use google alerts to monitor changes on a web page. There are also website change detection tools like visualping.io, wachete.com, changetower.com, distill.io, versionista.com which I found at Tech Radar https://www.techradar.com/best/best-online-content-monitoring-software. I'm asking specifically about software for monitoring domain names. Thank you.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
You have 2 options:
- There is something called "Google"
- Ask your wife

I liked what's in your profile but don't let people do the work for you.
Interests: Spending time effectively

Thought I'd ask the question at the world's leading domain name expert forum rather than trawl through possible answers on Google and waste time testing domain name monitoring software that's either broken or nobody here uses.

Google is banned in China.
And Google also deprives him of connecting with others who use any tools / software. There are many coders who upload gifthub stuff, like @Save Breach, @cipcip more talented than i, in developing and making.

There’s also the issue of free or paid software.
Godaddy makes you spend five figs for GD api and only share GD API those spend it monthly

@Samer I don't mind paying for decent software.

Thanks for the shoutout @Samer

To answer the OP's question, he may set up a cron job and fetch the data from an API to notify him on a change.

If @Macit allows using Dofo's API, I can make such a tool with their API - https://dofo.com/df/domain/savebreach.com?fields=other_onsale,whois,inuse,length,lang,alexa,keywords (their API is already public and needs no API key or authentication)

As you can see below, these are some of the data you get from it, such as nameservers, marketplace pricing and so on.

You can store the data locally, update data once in a while through API to monitor for changes

Hope that helps!
