If it wasn't for porn, the modern net would not exist.

It was built for porn, display of heavy bandwidth needed for high res. Photos and video of sex.

The only businesses that made money online in the 90's was porn companies.

Their bandwidth needs created the demand for the high speed capacity of the modern net.

No porn
No high speed modern net

That's a fact Jack

Desire for high speed net access was fueled by porn.

It's why internet is $50 month now instead of the $5 and $10 monthly slow dialup ISP days

Only reason people would go from $5 to $50 month internet bills was their desire to watch porn

May be eBay started valuing and giving respect to Morality.

It is a way of looking moral without losing income as their adult domain ebay sales reputation is unprecedented surely their reps here could comment or they were never involved in industry.

Its high time some one starts "Fbay" - for restricted items like these....
The .com version is still available for sale from afternic

Disclaimer: I do not own that domain or any way associated with the owner...

They should just have an adult section on eBay, instead of outright ban. The adult industry isn't disappearing anytime soon (polite word for saying "porn")

Lol, they also recently stopped paying out in PayPal.

Movies, DVD's, Magazines? No way people still get their dose from those, it's 2021.

Anyway, all these limits it's like they don't even want to exist anymore.

I wonder how ebay’s stock is responding?

Less than 5 bucks off it’s 52 week high.

If you are referring to the first issue of Playboy Dec. 1953 with a young MM, I have one. And in very good condition. My dad picked it up in the early to mid (90s for a couple hundred dollars, and I inherited it from him.

When will this become a thing for namepros?

Years ago there was an ebay alternative for adult products, goods and services.

And agreed, only shit domains sold on ebay....
Where all the domains that do not sell here end up.
Also a great source of domains to sell here.

Cringe at the adult section lol,

Good luck to all, but it’s like selling your soul.

Actually, the internet came into being because the local BBs got overloaded with cat pictures done in ASCII.

@Samer "Bring back Dr. Seuss children’s books banned" I didn't know about that. It's good news because I have the full collection so now their value will go up as collectors items. @john_karr Yes people are selling domain names on ebay https://www.ebay.com/b/Domain-Name-Services/3767/bn_2313581. @adoni I agree with you. The sex industry (and most importantly the average sex worker) suffers from grossly unfair discrimination against by many of the world's major payment companies PayPal (owned by Ebay), Visa, Venmo included. Sex is an ancient industry and these companies are all connected to it in one way or another despite these public hand washing exercises. All this does is push the sex industry towards crypto services which are largely unregulated. It's about time the big tech players WELCOME the sex industry into mainstream society. @Haroon Basha What is morality? Are cigarettes moral? Is killing animals for meat moral? What else should Ebay ban? @jhm You are totally correct. That's the most appropriate solution. Family Ebay and Adult Ebay.

How about this headline on vice "PayPal pulls out of pornhub hurting hundreds of thousands of performers" https://www.vice.com/en/article/d3abgv/paypal-pulls-out-of-pornhub-payments. There are some clever headline writing people in marketing.

You all forgetting one minor thing here:
EBAY is a company that has the right to decide what will sell or not sell on it's platform.
Same with Paypal....
So do not blame Ebay or Paypal for the removing most sex domains and items from their platforms.
Majority of people just are not into porno, period.

What do you mean if they're a company then don't blame them? That doesn't make any sense.

I couldn't give a monkeys personally if they have them on there, but if it's Ebay that are removing them we have the right to blame them if we want to. Who else are we going to blame??

As for most people not being into porn, you're having a laugh.
