Whom are the people in charge of taxing all my sexy domains?

For example I'll type in an original domain name and see it is listed for like 300-800$ but in my head it's for sure a $10-50k+ domain, and I'm wondering if someone or a company actually obtained this domain and is selling it for cheap?

And why am I able to purchase it on multiple registrars for the same price?

@Clover that attitude of being sure just got me in a bidding war with another domainer now that i won the auction am doubting my self sometimes we are wrong ^^

there is a saying in my country it goes 'if there was good in it the bird wouldn't have thrown it away' (rough translation) tens of thousands of dominers crawl the aftermakret for domains everyday sometimes when you see things as too good to be true maybe they are

am not trying to put you down for trying but there is no way a domain that is worth 10k for an end-user is available for purchase for 300$ ^^ (could just be me tho wait to see what others think)

Nah the $300 one may catch like $900 if the right buyer is met. The 10k domain is something very popular and cool, there's already multiple big companies named after it, I'm surprised it hasn't been taken for what it's priced at right now. I could be wrong about the 10k, but with time I'm sure it would fetch. A double up quick flip would be a definite. I hope I can get it soon so I can show you guys and ask what ya'll think.

When you say "named after," is the domain name (.com) off-limits due to trademark or are all the multiple big companies lacking a website? I'm confused.

Is the name (.com) off limits due to trademarks?? I don't know, it says I'm able to purchase it. The companies do have a website, they just don't have this domain.

For example
The company is named Baxter and they have the domain Baxterwear.com
But you can buy the domain Baxter itself and sell it to that company.
(This is nothing close to what it is just an example.)

Yeah, I've done similar with the medical company named Valify, their market value is $40billion, with the domain GetValify.com, I have Valify.net, wish I had the .com.

That sounds like an easy case of some possible trademark violation involved in such a name. It's very possible that many simply don't want to touch this name not to get in trouble, that's why you see it for cheap (buyer realizing risk and trying to sell it further, and without much interest from the rest). Of course I can't say for sure without seeing a name, but I've seen similar cases many times.
