This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Thanks for sharing.

It will be helpful if you can mention your sale venue and acquisition price and hold time if you don't mind...

I am assuming all are in USD... please mention that too to be clear.

Thanks.

I haven't reported any sales since May 2020, but April has been great to me so I want to give something in return :xf.smile:

olymp, devlabs - BINs

talentlab - $795 BIN, received low XXX offer and countered "$695 lowest and no further negotiations", the buyer accepted in a week or so...

selfexclude - received an offer a few months ago, but wanted WAY more. Now that I needed to raise some cash, I tested one small trick – added the same buyer as a lead in DAN with the amount buyer was willing to pay previously in USD, but... in GBP (the buyer is from the UK) – offer was accepted and paid within 24 hours w/o any email correspondence

bico - BIN was $995, I reduced to $199 on this and a dozen more names, and it was purchased in less than a week by another known domainer from India.

Hello, I work on Squadhelp as a creative since 2012 and, if I remember well, I came up with this name in a contest for a jewelry store, some years ago. I haven't won that contest, but it's all good now. It's just a classy sounding made-up name. :)

Sold at DAN on a payment plan. Scheduled for 20 payments, it was paid in full on the 1 year anniversary. Purchase/payment plan created on 5/11/2020.

Sold for a total of $2080 with $267 fees. Received $1813

Bought 7/24/2018 at GoDaddy expired auctions for $19 including registration. About $19 in renewals for a total cost of $38.

Hold time just shy of 3 years by the time of final payment for over 47x return.

I don't remember anything special about buying it other than it was cheap enough for me to buy and seemed like a cool-sounding play on hedonism or hedonistic.

No negotiation. They chose a payment plan on a domain that had a BIN of $1888.

Inbound only.
