...And the Norwegian word for online is "nett"...not a fan of the hybrid in this case. In full Norwegian, the domain in theory would be "netttrening.com" (if I'm not mistaken)...ugly with three "t's"

I don't consider the domain desirable. Reg fee territory, in my view. Sorry

They like their ccTLD. So do the Polish, they use the same word so there's a market. Not sure about value. Wouldn't get my hopes up.

Yes. Don't worry about the 'online' keyword. It's commonly used in Europe.

Edit: anything good with online+Keyword has some potential, albeit second pick for non English speaking EU countries with a mature ccTLD. When targeting the national market, I'd rather opt for another .no instead of using a .com.

there is 301,000 search results for "online trening" which is decent.....

There are a few websites and YouTube fitness videos using this term - might be worth double checking the usage and comparing fitness training & corporate learning to make sure you are targeting the correct industries/niches etc

Doesn’t seem like much incentive for Norwegian firms to purchase a SLD that’s Norwegian coupled with a US/international TLD. Why pay for dot com when you can get dotno and appeal to your target audience. Now, if they were targeting an international audience, dot com would make sense but the Norwegian SLD would not. Check for “trening” domains on namebio and see what sales come up to give you an idea.

Edit: According to NB, trening.com sold for $3700 on Afternic in 2008. It’s actually a live site so that’s a good sign. Looks like it’s Croatian.
