Mankind is flying to space since some decades and to me it seems that space (space travel, space exploration, using resources from space) is trending more recently.

Missions to moon are planned by the Chinese and the Americans and it seems that everyone who can afford it, wants to get there. One reason probably also is the ongoing destruciton of our planet earth.

Recent news regarding space mining caught my attention. My impression is that future missions into space are not just for scientific purposes, but also to exploit resources and mine asteroids.

There seems to be potential, so I think it's worth to have a look in this domain niche.

I'm confident quantum mechanics will have some travel apps. Until that time is parallel, the science-based artists' graphics & computer renderings of exoplanets -based on a broad, and growing, spectrum of mineral sigs, biomarkers, etc., will continue to serve well and awe-inspire.

In addition, we are reaching a tipping-point of people who understand a broken spaceship / planetary ecosystem becomes a domino-effect doomsday machine... so I don't think it will take a hundred years before we are a multi-planet species. Even if we have to build mini-planet rings around the earth, and moon, with asteroids.

Extraterrestrial TV.com goes well with PlanetAtlas.com... by putting (data based) faces to places, of course. And, AlienAvatar.com connects those images to users. 'Alien' images will also come from the oldest fossils on earth, crystals, as well, perhaps, from asteroids and planetesimals in space.

I also think 'CONTACT' via a quantum cyberspace medium is more likely than alien spacecraft arriving.

BTW, Extraterrestrial TV is an active 'Content Showcase Channel'... which gives prospects an idea what's happening in the space, while improving the domain's page rank and overall asset value. Beyond that its interesting, fun and there are biz ops along the way. The name was on my list for years before I reg'd it, in 2016, thinking things should start happening in this space... and they have, with US Gov video no less.

That's an interesting name. I think this name can also be related to "space" in other meanings - not where spaceships fly :)

Psyche, an asteroid believed to be worth $10,000 quadrillion, is observed through Hubble Telescope in new study

An asteroid in space possibly worth more than the entire economy of our planet 01:23
(CNN)A rare metallic asteroid about three times farther away from the sun than our planet could yield secrets about Earth's molten core, and scientists want to learn all about it.

A new study published Monday in The Planetary Science Journal takes a closer look at this mysterious asteroid, using data from the Hubble Telescope.
Located between Mars and Jupiter, Asteroid 16 Psyche is one of the most massive objects in the asteroid belt in our solar system, and with a diameter of about 140 miles, it is roughly the same length as Massachusetts (if you exclude Cape Cod).
The exact composition of Psyche is still unclear, but scientists think it's possible the asteroid is mostly made of iron and nickel. It's been hypothesized that a piece of iron of its size could be worth about $10,000 quadrillion, more than the entire economy on our planet.

How many of these do I need strapped to my back to get me to space?:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

sidenote........... Is it no surprise they went with Saturn instead of Uranus Missiles?:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::xf.grin:

I have ISSView.com.

Stands for International Space Station View. Thought about turning it into a site with information about the ISS. Thoughts on the name?
