This was the same Polish preacher who called out the fascist police. They'll show him.

If I had said 2 years ago that fascist police would be arresting priests in the street for holding church services, I would have been called a loon.

Yet, here it's happening. And those same people who would have called me a loon are saying, "Well he asked for it."

When fascism is defeated, everybody always pretends it was just other people who supported it. But this shows us fascism has wide support while it is happening.

Texas has become the latest Republican-dominated state to advance sweeping new limits on voting, despite no evidence of any problems with last year's vote.

Funny how they can't wait until even the 2nd sentence to slip in their editorial comments. Usually now in the headline or 1st sentence. Is the typical reader in America unable to distinguish factual statements from editorial statements? If the Democrats did this, "limits" would be called" reforms" and the last clause would be dropped entirely.

The novel coronavirus’ spike protein plays additional key role in illness
Salk researchers and collaborators show how the protein damages cells, confirming COVID-19 as a primarily vascular disease

Is this post in the wrong thread? Are you suggesting "Operation Warp-Speed" was politically motivated? In which case, one has to wonder why the former president got vaccinated after claiming he was immune to Covid having contracting the virus last fall. :xf.confused:

Rebel News... the only News outlet I go to, to find out the truth in Canada, the rest is all Leftist Garbage...

What does Rebel News have to say about this happening under the leadership of Right-wing Conservatives?

What have we come to when Alberta — once known as the freest province in Canada — now routinely prosecutes and jails Christian pastors? I don’t know of anywhere else in the free world that has that disgraceful distinction. Arresting Christians for holding church services is what police states do, not liberal democracies. This has to stop.

https://www.rebelnews.com/breaking_...pawlowski_arrested_moments_after_church_today

Just as in the US where response is state regulated, Covid health restrictions fall under provincial regulation. Ontario (which has the highest Covid cases) under Conservative leadership, is imposing further restrictions and lockdowns, and has requested Ottawa to tighten federal response.

Liberals blame the provinces, particularly Conservative-governed Alberta and Ontario. Meanwhile Conservative leaders blame the Liberals for failure to procure vaccines early enough and in sufficient quantities. Yet, what I am hearing, the anti-vax rhetoric is coming mainly from the Right :xf.confused:

Here in Canada, it appears mini-Trump populist Ontario premier Doug Ford (PC) and Alberta's premier Jason Kenny (PC) are taking things to a whole nuther level - locking up pastors and locking down their provinces. Both decribe themselves as big Republican supporters. I can imagine how more hard-line emboldened they would have become had 45 been re-elected.

That's interesting. As I recall, Trump the evil dictator ironically came under heavy criticism for not having lockdowns and implementing martial law as demanded by many on the left, and I can't imagine him locking up pastors. But, of course, a lot of those who call themselves Republicans are as bad as the Democrats when it comes to human rights. That was one reason Trump was elected.

Indeed, it does seem like a bit of an authoritarian twist, but IIRC, it wasn't up to the evil dictator, but rather up to the governor from each state to make that call. It's the same in Canada, yet we've seen in this thread how parties are painted. Maybe the so-called lefties, as @GILSAN is so quick to point out, aren't the bogeymen they're made out to be. :xf.wink:

From my observation, the right-wing premiers of these lockdown provinces are able to manipulate their Conservative following like the T'man, as you might bet there would be considerable backlash otherwise :xf.eek:

All roads lead to Rome. Look at the US attorney who handled the case - Alexander Acosta, Trump’s Labor secretary, who approved a secret agreement where Epstein pleaded guilty to lesser state charges rather than face federal prosecution in Florida and New York from 2002 through 2005 (Interestingly 15 years prior)...it's all history now, as Epstein was silenced while awaiting trial. :dead:
