I don't think it's late, masks are now accessories just like belts. You can always setup a mask store maybe a niche masks store like pets masks etc.

And why it took you this long to get it up and running, you wasted the peak time for the business.

Unfortunately I don't think so. I speculate masks will be in use for many years to come, just as they were arleady common in Asia before covid. At least looking at it from an European perspective.

this name is not fit only for covid mask... so if mask will be past it doesnt effect on this name .. can be useful for A security service. A costume shop. An app. A game and many other uses are possible

From a health point of view, I would prefer mask.not as domain name.

The extension doesn't define the success of a business store but for domainers it has to be a .com

I would put an how-to build a cloth face mask step by step

A very good name with several possible application.
Use dot net as the advantage of this domain name by building internet related service say online data protection and privacy-related service provider. It could be a very well fit in crypto and NFT related activities where buyer and seller prefer not to disclose their original identity due to security and legal issues.

I agree, this domain name is great.

I think you may have missed the boat. Masks are available almost everywhere now.

Mask.net is perfect for a network security masking service or business.

Did you get any offers on the name when the mask hype was at its highest? (Mask.com sold via BB for an undisclosed sum not long ago)

Thanks for the feedback, actually I didn't notice I owned the domain till I returned to domaining few months ago after a decade it being busy with other internet related projects including KUWAITNET.

Been a big fan of dot net domains back then, I even registered Bashar.net back in 99 and my company main domain was kuwaitnet.net till I acquired both dot com versions

Looking into my portfolio I even have cost.net cobra.net dubai.net and few other gems that I was sleeping on them.

Privacy and services related seems a better approach rather than building a medical mask related website

In some countries, Corona is on peak. Some countries are trying their best to overcome this virus problem. So, selling it now, I think will be more profitable than selling it in future.

Because, it has a narrow impression, so one should take benefit of the today's time.

This name is a wow for VPN niche. Mask the internet.
Also, facial masks, facepacks etc.

If you google "mask", you will see 95% results are related to the facial masks. You can hardly get a result related to VPN/proxy etc.

Sell masks with a spider net design pattern. Use teespring so they can do the printing and shipping on the mask for you. Just provide a design.
Edit: Just realized the proper term would be spiderweb. Still worth a shot.

Google algorithm follow the current trend. Two years ago even Google was not aware of what Corona is and today you will get billions in search.

IMHO, serious business must be backed by a solid plan as per individuals and team's strength and capability with clear and long term demand forecast in future.

In the above @johnn put as a really nice question, why would somebody buy a mask from a new company when they have amazon and Walmart available. Also, these masks are not normal but special mask with only 1-2 years of business (assuming after vaccination pandemic will be over) whereas data security and online privacy is a crucial and emerging trend and after several online data breaches at various social media it will only gain momentum.
