Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Graham and live in Perth, Western Australia. I'm an old age pensioner now and spent 20 years of my life in the Air Force as an avionics technician.

I spend most of my time online, either making websites, affiliate marketing or now back into domain selling. I certainly spend a lot of money, but don't make any!

I am specializing in .com domains and sell them for $129 through Namecheap Marketplace. My user name is a hint :xf.wink:

Keeping my mind active is important at this stage of my life, as it is all too easy to just waste the day watching TV or other pointless pastimes.

Welcome aboard Graham! You said you make websites and do affiliate marketing. Have you tried making websites as a service? I’ve find affiliate marketing to be very hit or miss (with some big hits and a lot of misses) but building websites as a service still seems in demand. Anyways, best of luck to you!

@RatchetMedia Yes, affiliate marketing is a lot of work and cost up front for little if any return.

I don't actively promote my hosting plans any more, but offer them to people who contact me.

Most people want to make their own sites, so I will often just install ClassicPress for them, harden security and install a few security/optimization plugins.

They then have a solid foundation to build their site. I prefer to work one-on-one with customers than mass produce sites and try to flip them.

Welcome sir.
I got a connect instantly. My dad served Indian Air Force and I've seen the disciplined life. Its a "By Default" programming that I get frequency matched with defence personals.
Secondly, I like and respect Australians except the day when they play against India on a Cricket ground. ;)

See you around.
Take a good care of yourself.

@Akhilesh.Kumar Yes, after 20 years of service life, you cannot ever again become a "civilian". Your values are permanently changed and principles become much more important than profit.

I found it impossible to work as a civilian and employers could not understand why I wouldn't put money first.

So, I have had to work for myself since 1991, when I left the RAAF.

My father was RAF and served in what was Ceylon in the 1950's, so I grew up in that atmosphere too.
