I haven't sold a single domain via the outbound domain sale method for about 6 months, even though I've offered about a hundred.

Is it a congestion caused by the Corona virus or has this way of selling definitely failed?

Please share with me your opinions and experiences on this topic.

Thanks...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have sell over 300 domains trough outbound and last three months sales are down or slow.

I am doing the same as ussual so the problem is in something else.

That’s why I’m asking for an opinion.
Sales dropped sharply (at least as far as I'm concerned), and so did the opening of emails I send.
The quality of domains and the concept of outgoing emails is the same as before.

Are you tracking if emails are being opened? I wouldn't open emails that they are being tracked.

I am checking emails regulary each day and they are landing mostly in inbox. Are you also selling GEO domains?

Yes, it happens very similarly to me. It is evident that there is a stalemate.
And on Dan.com, for example, I notice that sales are down ...

Yes, I'm following the opening of my outgoing emails ...
I notice that the number of openings has also decreased significantly.
In addition, Gmail often transfers my messages to spam (I send them from MS Outlook, and I use a professional email address).

Well, I think that may be your problem ;)

Don't track emails.

This could be your cue.

Maybe your email and/or ip have been flagged as spammy, hence lowered open rate.

Spam flag: Send email to various different people at Gmail, people you know, and let them know and ask them to flag them at not spam. With some luck you might get better results.

Otherwise, unfortunately if you send many emails /outbound, Gmail will eventually flag them anyway.

Regarding market: 2021 is still weird so far, in my opinion. Was looking at last month's sales report post, 4-fig sales seem to be low and in small value to me. While 5-figs and more are pretty much booming.

Corona: Offtopic somehow, but please take this into account as well. I took the shot as well (second coming soon) BUT I don't think this will fix the problem. Even if everyone else in the more wealthy part of the world does, a rampant situation like India will eventually spread all over the world fast - because the changes will become so fast that our vaccines can't keep up. Also antivax is growing.

Sorry for the bad perspective but I've been personally researching this a lot and we're still on track to the same situation as with Spanish flu, except slowed down by vaccine. Whoever doesn't understand what's going on exactly, has to look at science and history (edit: real, not viewed through politician's lenses as seen on TV), preferably both.

We've been sold a fast solution via vaccines but in practice, while good for personal health, from the economic viewpoint it's only a false hope that our governments have sold us. Keep calm though, and carry on domaining.

with more than 300 outbound emails in the last month or two zero replies
before i would get at least 10% replies mind you those are real leads and people that can make the purchase
example chief of marketing ceos etc
am giving up on emails and trying out phone calls hoping for a sale soon

This seems to work. Thanks for the advice.
