I have 2 domains anafor.net and festivaller.net.

anafor.net expire date was on 2021-10-30
festivaller.net expire date was on 2021-08-06

But 6 days ago this con artist company renewed my domains without my wish. I wrote them for a refund but they are refusing to refund.

Let me guess... You had autorenewal on and moved the domains there short of a year ago?

You defrauded yourself by registering these in the first place.

Most likely (as @DirkS alluded to), the domains were set to automatically renew at the time you registered them. I usually turn that off immediately after I register a domain name (at least for the ones I don't plan on keeping after the amount of time I selected). Sometimes, companies perform automatic renewals in advance of the actual expiration date, so there's that.

This ^

Also. On the domain details it states the next due date (after your exp. date) which doesn't match your expiration date but the date for renewal of the yearly contract.

It's not common for registrars but I've seen it before, mostly hosting related companies, like PH is. Check their TOS and your panel for more info.

That being said, their system is kinda buggy here and there. It shows invoices due dates over a month after expiration (transferred an expired domain there) and it is still showing 2 I sold that were transferred out.
