I don't know why so many people are unable to see evil when it's in their face like this. Just flip the narrative. Imagine a white person praying to God to help them hate even the nice black people. Change the race of the victim or offender, and it's plain to see.

The so-called journalists and politicians who push this hate are aspiring war criminals.

My thoughts also. I doubt she needs help hating anyone. Like Maxine Watters or Al Sharpton, they make their living by dividing people.

To be fair, @Cannuck is a Canadian, has no bill of rights and doesn't know better.

James Madison and George Mason are credited as authors of The Bill of Rights, yet both were slave owners at the time and. Did they know any better? Did they know God's will? Is the Founding Fathers document "granted by the Creator" based on reality? Is it still a working document today?

Notes On The State Of Virginia by Thomas Jefferson

Let me add too, as a circumstance of great tenderness, where our conclusion would degrade a whole race of men from the rank in the scale of beings which their Creator may perhaps have given them. To our reproach it must be said, that though for a century and a half we have had under our eyes the races of black and of red men, they have never yet been viewed by us as subjects of natural history. I advance it, [264] therefore, as a suspicion only, that the blacks, whether originally a distinct race, or made distinct by time and circumstances, are inferior to the whites in the endowments both of body and mind. c'mon man, it is just a different lens:)

Why are lefties always so disingenuous?

Birds of a feather flock together...the vitriol of your bi-polar politics is caustic.

Would you take a red, black or yellow pill to change your skin colour permanently? If you did, then it might just change your perspective. You might have a different lens through which to view the world. :wideyed:

I suppose this is just par for the course today...

Politics and religion don't mix. The biggest revelation regarding Trump’s presidency is how he got there in the first place: by winning 80-81% of white evangelicals.

Within weeks of his election, to appease his base, Trump signed an executive order, a “Muslim ban,” calling for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on." Yet earlier he said “I love the Muslims. I think they’re great people!” :xf.confused:

How about his statement, “Go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came." and then followed up with, “So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.”

Pressley was born in Cincinnati, Tlaib was born in Detroit and Ocasio-Cortez was born in New York, Omar was born in Somalia; her family fled the country amid civil war and became a U.S. citizen as a teenager.

Trump referred to Haiti and African nations as "shithole countries". He later denied making the remark.

If Pocahontas would have left [the race] two days earlier,” Trump said, "Biden wouldn’t have been on the debate stage."

How did Trump respond to his question of whether Obama was born in the United States?

I have a great relationship with the blacks, I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.”

What about his calling Covid the "China Plague", "Kung Flu" etc.? Does that not reek of racism?

Condemning President Trump's racist comments directed at Members of Congress.

I asked a simple question, why are black people attacking other people? Whites, Jews, Asians.

You responded with excuses, ad hominem attacks and left-wing propaganda because you're unable or to afraid speak truthfully.

In other words, you're calling me a liar (and it's not the first time BTW)

My truth, your truth, their truth, who's truth...who are you to judge my response as being untruthful?

Rather than a blanket response, what part of the truth (as stated before) you cannot accept? Or is it just that my words are not part of your program?

This deservers a longer reply than what I'm able to provide right now. In short, every nation practiced slavery, including nations / tribes in Africa and Canada.

Slavery was not unique to the USA. The Bill of Rights, the Constitution and a government by the people for the people was.

Over 620,000 people died over the argument of abolishing slavery in the USA. Not including the civilians that died in the Civil War.

It was conservative that lead the fight against slavery in the USA just like we lead the fight for civil rights in the 1960's.

I find it humorous and disingenuous when liberals, especially democrats, try to play the race card and hold slavery up as some unique American sin.

Change doesn't happen overnight. Our Bill of Rights was inspired and our Republic created in a way to defy tyrants. The USA is the oldest democracy in the world.

Not unique, I know better. We were discussing the Bill of Rights. I don't deny that slavery was practiced all over the world from time immemorial, but to say that the men who wrote the US Constitution or the Bill of Rights were granted those rights by the Creator (at that time ought to also have known better) and would (or should have) guaranteed freedom to their enslaved - those who would otherwise likely have chosen to live life on their own terms.

You're fond of histrionics. Name another country that was created before the USA that enumerated human rights granted by natures God and limited the power of Government.

Those are not questions I can answer. In context of the time, the Bill of Rights was revolutionary even though it only applied to select group of people.

England, France, Spain and their colonies including Canada were no different. What I find amazing is your arrogance that could have done better.

Is the Founding Fathers document "granted by the Creator" based on reality? Is it still a working document today?

Yes.

As I said, the entirety of Europe and the colonies thought the same way. As did civilizations in the Middle East, North Africa, etc..

Birds of a feather flock together...the vitriol of your bi-polar politics is caustic.

You don't like the truth. I accept it. You pretend you could have and would have acted better than the men of 1600 to 1800's because you're somehow more enlightened.

We are all the result of our circumstances. George Washington despised native American Indians because he was betrayed by them on multiple occasions, then they took up arms in support of the British.

George Washington was a flawed man but a great leader. I'm sure you would have done better. Maybe folded up the colonies and returned to England or France to live your life as a surf.

Would you take a red, black or yellow pill to change your skin colour permanently? If you did, then it might just change your perspective. You might have a different lens through which to view the world. :wideyed:

You think people can only empathize with people of the same color / race?? What is wrong with you??

I suppose this is just par for the course today...

Thanks for posting this and proving your own bigotry. Pres. Trump agreed to denounce racism multiple time before Wallace could even twist the answer into an accusation.

Neither Wallace or the Joe Biden who has an long history of racism, condemned the violence from the left. They support riots and looting by BLM.

Politics and religion don't mix. The biggest revelation regarding Trump’s presidency is how he got there in the first place: by winning 80-81% of white evangelicals.

I guess it's shocking to you that Christians don't support big Government, abortion, forcing people to violate their conscience.

You repeat propaganda and show your ignorance and bigotry. 90% of the "Muslim Ban" was written by Barrack Obama's administration. Trump added two countries. Most majority Muslim countries were not affected.

Did Trump's mean words hurt you? Sometimes the truth spoken bluntly is best.

Pressley was born in Cincinnati, Tlaib was born in Detroit and Ocasio-Cortez was born in New York, Omar was born in Somalia; her family fled the country amid civil war and became a U.S. citizen as a teenager.

Omar committed immigration fraud. If she wasn't a democrat she would have been expelled from congress. As for the others, it is their politics not their race people object too.

Trump referred to Haiti and African nations as "shithole countries". He later denied making the remark.

They are.

If Pocahontas would have left [the race] two days earlier,” Trump said, "Biden wouldn’t have been on the debate stage."

Again, probably true. Trump isn't president... let it go.

I'm shocked Trump isn't a perfect man. Why do you only object to Trump? What about Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters? Joe Biden's numerous racist statements??

I didn't call you a liar, I said you're a bigot and believe propaganda.

My truth, your truth, their truth, who's truth...who are you to judge my response as being untruthful?

There is only truth. "My truth", "your truth" are just opinions at best.

Rather than a blanket response, what part of the truth (as stated before) you cannot accept? Or is it just that my words are not part of your program?

This isn't a question, it's a bigoted accusation.

You're fond of histrionics. Name another country that was created before the USA that enumerated human rights granted by natures God and limited the power of Government.

I spoke earlier to the power of "WE"

The Constitution and the laws of the United States made IN PURSUANCE THEREOF, and the treaties made by their authority shall be the SUPREME LAW of the land, any thing in the constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding. But it is said that the laws of the Union are to be the SUPREME LAW of the land. ... It would otherwise be a mere treaty, dependent on the good faith of the parties, and not a goverment, which is only another word for POLITICAL POWER AND SUPREMACY.

WE are the “creator” – the federal government is merely our “creature”.

(Federalist No. 33 (6th para), A. Hamilton.)

Our Rights have a source – Almighty God, the Natural Law – which transcends and predates the existence of a constitution of any country.

When you say Rights come from the Constitution, you are, in effect, agreeing to the submission of your Rights to the government.

I never said our rights come from the constitution. I said our rights are granted to us by God and the Bill of Rights ( the constitution ) limits the Governments power to violate those rights.

Try again.

It's not a blanket statement, merely a litmus test that turns red in acid solutions and blue in alkaline solutions.

I didn't call you a liar, I said you're a bigot and believe propaganda.

You are entitled to your beliefs, just as anyone. Have I called you a bigot and a liar for your intolerance?

This isn't a question, it's a bigoted accusation.

Are you accusing me of being a bigot or someone who does not believe in social, economic or political equality?

It's not the first time...personal attacks are unwarrated. Your memory is short and bitter, such accusations are just downright nasty IMO (n)

The purpose of the Bill of Rights was to ensure that the government didn’t usurp the power of "WE" - the power to protect, to infringe upon, or even destroy people's rights.

Our rights, including free speech are granted to us by our creator. The constitution limits the powers of Government.

I never said our rights come from the constitution. I said our rights are granted to us by God and the Bill of Rights ( the constitution ) limits the Governments power to violate those rights.

Try again.

So on this point we agree.

Could you not simply have clicked the button at the bottom of my original post and prevented a misunderstanding?

Why all the posturing and accusations?

That's exactly how wars start. :shifty:

I'm not intolerant. I'm truthful and despise political correctness.

You are a bigot. Don't feel bad, most liberals are but you can change. Stop letting the media fool you.

Right back at you person who spent the last few hours trying to frame me as a intolerant racist.
