Hello,

I've a domain with godaddy and unfortunately i forget the email address associated with it, I've chatted with the support and they can't give me the email address unless of having the pin code that i don't know.

They ask me to send an email to change the email to an email they wanted a translated certified email so they give me the email address of my account.

I know my password and my phone number is there , I know Godaddy become the worst domain provider i've ever seen since i used internet in 2004.

And i will transfer around upto 1,000 domain names from them, I can't put a trust on them now again

anyone can give me an idea of how to get the email address of my domain name?

Is there any possible way of doing this? I appreciate any help as i don't to lose my own domain name, It's not important for anyone but it's important for me.

No, Not with NoDaddy, sorry.

But one guy may be able to help, i often say: He’s the “only good thing about Godaddy.”

Nice guy, @Joe Styler Is there a solution here? Good luck, mate.

I need any help to get only my email so i can login or the client id and the email address is enough for me.

I'm about to lose my domain name because of the ugly godaddy system.

They lost me forever i won't use them again.

If you have access to GoDaddy, you can just log in and look at "My Profile" under account settings and your e-mail is shown 3rd on the list.

What you can try is to lookup your domain through GoDaddy whois. That will give you an option to contact the domain owner through their proxy.

Fill out the form and they will email the domain owner (you) with the message. When you get that message it should reveal what email address you're using with them.

Should work if you use the same email for your account and on the owner details.

Edit: they may obfuscate the address it's sent to so check the email headers. Worth the shot to try.

Edit 2: I was curious myself so tried it on one of my domains. It works.

You might track all your email accounts by putting "Godaddy" on the search box, if any email associated with godaddy show up you can track between them easily. I recovered many of my other accounts with this method when i was not sure which email address i used for login.

Just to clarify, the email will be sent to the address that you have listed as the registrant contact for that domain name.

Yes. You can pick what address it gets sent to, registrant, admin or tech. I picked registrant although it doesn't matter cos most of the time I use the same address on all 3 records.

I guess a lot of people use the same email in domain ownership and their account so if that's the case with OP it should do the trick.

I know this trick and i used it many times , But i can see there is no email received here in that case, So i think the email is associated with one of the expired domain names,

I tried to login with all emails that's inside these domain names, But i failed .

All i want is to know what is my email there and i will login directly.

I don't know how to save my domain name from the expiration until now.

It's a stupid thing i know , I feel that i've the Zheimer now and i'm only 28 years. It's a joke, But i don't know what's going on and i should tell me self once i found the domain name " wOW, Yes i know this email address" this is so hilarious.

Earlier you mentioned: anyone can give me an idea of how to get the email address of my domain name?
So we helped you get that, but are you now saying that wasn't the same email that you have used for your GD account?

OK

You don't necessarily have to know your GD account email to login.
I believe that you can also log in with just your username or ID along with your password.

You're right. Your client ID is communicated on a lot of GD Emails they send you so I'd scan your mailbox for that and see what comes up. Check invoices also.

I want to appreciate your help before anything and i don't mean this ,
But ofcourse you are right and your steps were helpful for me.

I contacted Godaddy livechat and they gave me my email address but not full email address, They only posted the first letter of my email and the other domain name.

And i succeed to login there,

This is the time to leave Godaddy and transfer this domain name.

I appreciate all help Guys.

Thanks alot

You never actually said you couldn't log in. You also threatened to transfer 1,000 domains from GoDaddy, which you would need to be able to log in to do. I've never logged into GoDaddy with an e-mail address before. Glad you were able to log in.

Here's the thing, we don't know who you are. You can be anyone saying you want access to an account. if you do not remember how to login to your account or any of the account info needed to do a password reset then of course we are not going to make it easy for you to login. If we did anyone could steal whatever domains they wanted to.
We do have an option for you and it is using the change department and proving that you are who you say you are, changeupdate.com. Then they will give you access to the account. They are a branch of the legal department and they have processes in place to verify you are actually who you say you are and let you into the account.
That way everyone is safe including your domains from other people who might want to access your account.
I understand your frustration with us not giving you your account information but it is ultimately done to protect your account and domains.

shouldn't be easy to recover your account.

If there is a phone number on the account maybe they could call it and remind you part of the address?
