Hi there first post here. I’m new to domain investing. As many of you know Brandbucket accept submission of both registered and unregistered name, what stopping them from stealing your domain name idea if they are not registered? Let say that when evaluating name, an employee think this name is really good, but it is not registered, he/she rejected the name and registered it for themselves. I read somewhere that about 20% of all name on Brand Bucket are owned internally. Only 1 in 10 of all name submitted are accepted so it doesn’t make sense to register them all. Hope someone can help me clarify this. Thank you all very much

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Why don't you email your concern to them and see what they reply.

If the name is not good enough to register beforehand it doesn’t sound like its much of a risk of a true loss to you. People have been submitting unregistered names to them for many years and no accusations have been made publicly about BB regarding this.

Being it takes at least a month to get a review, it’s possible the name would be gone by then by pure coincidence.

If the name is good register it right away.

If something like that happened, be sure, there would be craziness in the forum about it.

No business can perform shady tactics for long without consequences.
