We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

My first post in this thread, I love dynadot, I use you daily.
However,
Two major concerns near pushing me away ,
I do not want to be asked to download your app or continue every single time I access from phone.
and I need to be able to zoom the screen , or I will stop scanning your auctions for fear of me going blind straining my eyes. : )

pretty please with a cherry on top change these concerns.
Thank you for the feedback, could I ask you to confirm the make and model of your device, please? We have already passed on a request to our team to have the 'Download App' prompt shown only once on Android, but I'm not sure if the issue is also affecting other devices. I also don't see any other reports of the site not having the ability to zoom in, could you please confirm the browsers you're seeing this issue within? I can then ask the team to look into that issue. Thank you.

Regarding my inquiry / suggestion (here at nP / post # 256) I noticed that you have already implemented the feature to (optionally) create (nameable / editable) NS - templates to (optionally) choose from.

I'm sorry to hear that, were you able to have this refunded? If not, please DM us with your Dynadot uername and the affected order number and I can take a look into that and have a refund issued.

We are sorry for the ongoing issues, unfortunately, our servers have been subjected to DDoS attacks recently. Our engineering team has been working diligently to mitigate the effects of the attacks but they are still briefly affecting our servers and processing speeds at times.

I've been testing Dynadot for about a month. Excellent so far, especially in comparison to what I got used to in the past.
If you could add .FR someday, you would make serious business there. People often complain about how bad the registrars are on that market.

You should be connected to one of our chat agents shortly if you're seeing the chatbot message, you would just need to keep the chat session open and our team will respond once you've been connected to an agent. Support tickets would be opened from our side for issues that require escalation either within our support team or to another department, but you can also contact our support team at [email protected] if you're unable to reach us by chat.

I second this suggestion. Discounts literally on everything else BUT renewals. This is the reason I often transfer domains away from Dynadot. Actually, about to move 8 of them shortly after this post.
We are able to offer some discounts on domain renewals in our monthly sales, but these aren't as common as registration discounts, unfortunately. You can find a full list of our current sales here:

Tried to register a .co.uk domain using my account's funds.

40 mins later domain still haven't been registered and support tells me stories about how a manual approval from the registry is needed (lol)

Went to porkbun and registered it in exactly 2 seconds.

Funny thing is,
I have registered enough .co.uk with Dynadot for registry to not need any new account created.
With porkbun it was my first co.uk ever. They created the account at the registry and registered the domain in two seconds.

Ridiculous registration times and ridiculous excuses.

That's *not* the way to do business Dynadot.
I'm sorry to hear about this, unfortunately, due to a significant increase in fraudulent registrations of .UK domains and the grace deletion limit set by Nominet our verification team did have to implement additional checks on new registrations of .UK domains. Our team does try to have the orders approved and processed as soon as possible, but there may sometimes be delays during busier periods.

Our team is also monitoring the situation regarding the fraudulent registrations, and hope to be able to remove the additional checks in the near future.

It seems like your new installment feature for marketplace domains is still not working 100 percent. It is possible to list a name for sale with installments only if it has a BIN price - not BIN-Make Offer. Also, the installment option appears on the listing page on your website, but not on the landing pages...

Thank you for letting us know, currently, the installment option is only available for domains listed with the 'Buy Now' option, but we will also be extending the option to both the 'Make Offer' and 'Buy Now + Make Offer' options soon.

I have escalated the issue regarding landing pages to our team for further investigation, as I don't see any option to pay with installments after following the landing page's 'Buy Now' link. Thank you again for letting us know.

Hi Daniel, I’m sorry to hear about your phone. When you’re asked for the 2FA code you should see a “Lost Cellphone?” link, you would just need to click this link and enter an answer to your secret question, and this will open a request on our side to have your 2FA settings reset. If your answer is correct, then our account managers should be able to process the request and will notify you by email from [email protected] when the settings have been reset.



If the answer is incorrect, our account managers would need to ask for a copy of your government-issued photo identification in order to verify you as the account holder. Once that has been received and verified our team would then be able to reset the 2FA settings.



If you have already submitted a request and are awaiting a response then please feel free to send us a DM with your Dynadot username and we can look into that.

What is going on with Dynadot?

Incessant, ill timed updates where the site is unavailable
Never before seen Captcha demands after just a few name searches
Slow lookups, slow loading, slow order processing
Slow to send transfer emails

I find myself going elsewhere to look up domains the past week

Unfortunately, our servers are still undergoing DDoS attacks and this is causing issues with the site at times, and our team have implemented catchpas in certain areas of the site to prevent bot attacks, I am sorry for any trouble this is causing. Our team is closely monitoring the situation and will adjust the catchpa requirements when possible.

I'm sorry about that, our team is working on resolving the issue with lost 2FA codes when requesting a password reset email but I don't have an ETA on when the fix may be ready, unfortunately.

Our account managers would be able to help you further with accessing the account, we would just need to ask you to contact them by email at [email protected]. Attaching a copy of your photo identification to the email will also help them assist you as quickly as possible, you could use any government-issued photo identification so a driver's license would be perfect, and either a scan of the license or a photograph would be absolutely fine.

You're welcome, and I'm sorry for the issues with SedoMLS over the weekend and past few days. I see that our team detected and resolved the issue yesterday and requested that Sedo retry and failed requests if possible, so hopefully any requests that had been sent from Sedo during the downtime should now be filtering through to our system.

I got offer for a domain name via Dynadot marketplace - there is no info how long Accept Offer button will be visible. After making counter offer, I don't know how long my offer will be valid and can I retract it.
