Will anyone ever let a 3L.com go to auction here at namepros i would love to watch it. What do u think - anybody guts enough to run one?

The problem is that there is a much bigger pool of serious buyers on venues like GoDaddy, NameJet, etc.

It would be pretty silly to list one on here in a no-reserve auction.

Do you mean something like this;

BBB.com
Bid start: $1
Next Bid: $1 max (do not bid more than $1)
BIN: TBH no idea. Don't ask.
Registrar: Can't remember
Expiration: Huh, next question?
Auction ends 500 days after LB
Description: def. worthless domain name so I figure better to fw to .org. Just trying to win the Guinness World Records for staging the longest-ever DN auction.

Regards

What you say is true, and, it’s not the best idea to auction top assets. We own real estate, which typically has a for sale sign on it. Open to negotiate...!

i know but wouldnt just be exciting to see a no reserve starting bid $1 for a 3L.com pop up? I mean the first bidder would say $5k and the next would say $10k etc lol.

@The Durfer from what i have seen at auctions on namepros people will increase their bids by the buck lol

Anyone who ever auctions a LLL.com is crazy. These are end-users names, you do one of 2 things.

1) You sit and wait for the buyer to come to you, this puts you in the box seat.
2) You approach a deep-pocketed end-user with the name. You have a minimum price in your head and you don't sell below that.

Thats the only way you get full value for the name.

Chances are a 3L .com regardless of quality would go for at least $80,000 at namepros auction. When people see a liquid domain on here they go crazy and spend a lot. We have 3L in liquid section going for over $95,000. So a 3L .com this would be an excellent place to list.

Maybe there is a billionaire among us who would like to give this opportunity to the NP members.:hungry:
