how do they make revenue?
Good question - they are very clear there will be no ad's on the site and it's all free games.....

"No Ads & No Ad Retargeting Crap"

Maybe just for the love of the game/s :xf.wink:

make sense , maybe thats why they use a .org

but still, how do they run it without clear revenue?

They might mid/long term plans to add revenue streams in the future, have to wait and see on that....One idea could be to build up the site and get donations as a quick example

Also some people have a lot of money, so if they want to create a free resource and it costs them a few quid then I'm not going to complain......

I'm not suggesting that they are actually doing this, but some similar free models harvest visitor information for resale.

Nice startup site @ plays.org

I believe they’ll buildup traffic and eventually open up a store and introduce premium part of the site.

HTML5 games is so 2010.
It is a site a kid can put in 5 minutes, complete with the games. Used to be a rage before 2011 when you could easily buy an EMDs and rank for each category with a few low quality backlinks. Duck shooting games, Dress Up games, racing games etc.

Monetization is dead simple. Make the Game screenshots same size as Adsense blocks and put a couple Ad blocks.

And a preroll ad before the Game... CTR used to be through the roof.

Perhaps one of my old friends putting it up for Nostalgia in memory of the good old days lol

Nothing to write home about..
