showcase Showcase Your: Bitcoin Domains

I'm not quite sure if I'm following the rules correctly, but I wanted to start interacting in the community to learn more about domaining.

I just picked up recently a good amount of dot COM domains that are all in the bitcoin niche. I felt like it was a pretty huge niche and would have a showcase thread, but I searched and didn't see one.

If I understand correctly, you can only post your domains if it's in the specific niche showcase, so I took the initiative to begin one. If this is against the rules I apologize!

But post your bitcoin domains here! Mine will be following in the next post :tu:

CryptAnalysis.co.uk

Interesting choice. I registered some domains related to cryptography and cryptology in the past, when 'crypto' had a different meaning. Some of these domains got valuable overnight during the Bitcoin hype and sold for a good amount. Not sure if your domain is in the same category.

Strike 1: You stated that a Bitcoin Only Hardware Wallet will never exist. I proved you wrong.

Strike 2: You're now fixated on the fact that because it exists, you need to find every piece of negative information about it and aggregate it into your conclusion. The reality is it's existence in itself discredits your original premise, I don't actually care about the quality of the product what matters is the MINDSHARE.

Strike 3: You may be a veteran in crypto but your a complete newb when it comes to domains.

https://instantdomainsearch.com/domain/extensions/#search=bitcoinhardwarewallet

Do you see the extensions taken? There are 10+ including major ones like .Net, .IO, .ORG, .DE, .CA, .CO.UK etc..we domainers call that TLD Demand, which is an indicator of value.

Go on Google and type in site:bitcoinhardwarewallet.*

Do you see the other TLDS developed?

Check the monthly search volume on Keyword planner do you see it's searched 3,600/month with high cpc?

Search volume higher than 1K for a Crypto related domain is significant.

Do you see Ledgers Google ads when you search it? What about Trezors? What about Ellipal?

Advertising competition is another indicator.

These are just a few of the criteria an experienced domainer will look at. When looking at a crypto project to invest in do you just skim through the white paper? Or do you take a deep dive and do a full analysis of the project i.e white paper, team, competitors, market conditions and vertical potential?

Same methodology applies here. We don't play games. This is about making money and if you don't fully understand the considerable amount of variables affecting a domains value, you will have a difficult time adjusting.

You are simply not at the level where you should be telling people what a good/bad domain name is. Also, making personal attacks when you've been proven wrong on a public forum is not a good look. You should think twice.

Your out!

Proven wrong again! Blockstream just released Jade, a bitcoin hardware wallet.

" Self-custody is essential to using Bitcoin properly. As we all know, trusted third parties are security holes. But storing your keys on an internet-connected device can expose your keys to the risks of malware. As such, it’s typically best practice to use a dedicated hardware wallet.

Today, we’re launching Blockstream Jade as our own take on what a Bitcoin hardware wallet should be."
