I basically just bought a 63 character domain name ( 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111.one )

I saw that I could just buy and I did, is this a weird occurrence or no? I feel like this domain would be taken by now. other domains such as
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.one
have been pretty known.

Thanks for reading.

You missed a unique opportunity by not using a combination of zeros and ones left to the dot.

Lots of combinations can be made (but don't overdo it....)

Do you have a use case for the domain?
right, It might be late and my brain is not functioning but why would I do a random string of 1's and 0's instead of an all "1" max character .one domain name

And no, I don't particularly have a use for the domain yet, sorry for my lack of understanding.

Unless you can put a long name to use exact search string or description just don't. Anyone can think up a long name that they can use which won't be yours. If you have a long name have a use for it or be prepared to renew to keep backlinks or drop when your finished with it.

that's true, but technically my domain is now the longest string of repeated numbers you can ever achieve.

63x 1 [dot] one (for a total of 64 ones if you exclude subdomains of course)

I guess its fun to have.

Welcome @rogierrogier

You're going to get on well with a couple of other members here who share a penchant for interesting domain names ;)

So, what's the question that you alluded to in your thread title?

Thank u!

My question was if this is a weird occurrence to see this domain at GoDaddy without it being bought already since this domain is basically the world record holder for the longest string of repeating numbers possible in a domain (maybe a far stretch) (63x 1 [dot] one = 64 ones)

that's why I was wondering domains like that are not taken yet, I looked into the history and it was owned 6 years ago as well but I guess it expired?..

names such as 63x 9 [dot] one have been pretty well known because it's the highest number a domain can have.

My number is way bigger.
googolduplex.com
A googolplex is the number 10, or equivalently, 10 (10 100). Written out in ordinary decimal notation, it is 1 followed by 10 100 zeroes, that is, a 1 followed by a googol zeroes.

Haha yeah I mean if you use words you can make way bigger numbers than with numbers.

Probably because it really isn't worth much to anyone but a collector like yourself, but you never know, you may get lucky ;)

Oh yeah I am only buying those to collect, I currently own 63x1 [dot] one and 63x1 [dot] uno

so I now own both of the longest string of repeating numbers possible which is nice to have I guess!

I don't think anyone will ever be interested in these domains but ill see!

Well, you can always publish a novelty page.

There are a few domain names that I remember based on their uniqueness, like longest location names, longest words, quirky titles etc.

Good luck ;)
