We domainers mostly use email to outbound but sometimes emailing fails. Maybe the prospect is not checking his inbox regularly or maybe your email lands in spam. There are some folks who use social media too. So can you share your valuable advice on which social media platform works best for outbound and Why? Do you outbound from a business or personal social media account? Thanks for reading.

I don't think those are good options for outbound. Most businesses have a presence on insta and Fb.Thanks.

You mean "We spammers"? I don't outbound and if I were, the best chance on a social platform is of course Linkedin.

Thanks For the reply. I Think outbound is not spamming. Just we should not send many emails to a single user again and again. Nowadays everyone is using outbound to get clients.

No not everyone outbounds, like I said, I don't.

If you outbound you are not in a good position to negotiate and you may even land in hot water if they open a case on you for domain squatting. If you want big sales, don't outbound. I tried it as a beginner and my negotiating power was weak because they knew I was desperate for a sale, so I just declined their low counters and moved on. Now I let them come to me, now I have the upperhand.

Phone with decision makers, LinkedIn as alternative way.
Other methods are waste of time or lowball sales in the best scenario.

Buy a GREAT domain and make sale landing page. Lot of traffic is already coming into it. One day end user will come across to buy it.

I decided to try Instagram for one of my domains in cosmetics niche.
Will report results in few weeks and see if it's a viable approach.

How will they know your domain is for sale if you don't tell them

You tell them on your landing page for the domain name that it is for sale. You can even tell them the price and provide a simple mechanism for them to buy the domain name with their credit card right then and there. When they are ready to buy, they will buy. You are then the winner.

If you get impatient and reach out to them, you have lost your position of strength and your ability to maximize your price. Worse, you annoy them unnecessarily, so much so that they could send your message over to their lawyers for them, in turn, to annoy you.
