Regarding privacy on Dan marketplace.

I got an offer and accepted it.
Does DAN send my details (first name last name, phone number and contact address) , to the buyer? Buyer got my private contact details and didn't paid.

We heard from the buyer and unfortunately they are unwilling to pay for the domain. I informed them they made a binding agreement but they refused to pay.

Don't know if this has been asked before......

Is there any plans for us to be able change the starting offer as percentage of the asking price?

I don't have that many domains in the grand scheme of things and it is time consuming having to individually change them - for people with 1000's of them it must be a pain in the ar&e.......

It would be handy as an account wide setting indeed. Sedo has such fine grained options as well. I'm calculating the Make Offer discount in LibreCalc, then upload to DAN. When 'buy now' equals 'make offer', the Make Offer option is automatically omitted by DAN.

We never share any such details with a buyer. Only when a buyer has paid will an invoice be granted showing the minimum billing details of the selling party.

We want to make sure we offer the option to provide support to clients through the chat widget we offer. However, we do not want to add too many distractions for a buyer as the aim is for them to proceed through our checkout instead.

Dear,

I was referring to the phone number, email, etc. We never share any such contact details. However, when we have to provide an invoice to the buyer and seller we have the legal obligation to mention the billing details of both parties as well. In this case, it would be the billing address and selling name.

As below image at user dashboard in the sectoin of ( Your recently viewed domains ) ,
they used to list 6 domains that got viewed .
I recognised that domains from 4 days are not updated or no change , it used to be daily change of domains list that daily viewed by visitors , google analytic and bodis showing daily numbers of traffic !!

My Google Analytics display at Dan.com has also not been updating for several days. But the daily traffic is there in my own GA account.

Looks like Godaddy have over 1k mostly 5L domains publicly listed at Dan.com at 25k fixed price on each:

Not all are 5L and many are 50k pricetag.

They're asking just 45k to sell the Republican party:

I haven't sold a domain at Dan because I've been reluctant to sell there due to Cryptocurrency payout not enabled in my account. How do you solve that for me?

It appears one has created a seller's account and added the logo and name to it. We have made sure to remove it and are currently investigating the matter. We do not condone the impersonation of any company without their permission and therefore have to investigate why this was done.

Good morning @dande,

Once you have a payout pending you only need to get verified once. Simply notify your specialist of the desire to get paid out in BTC by that time and they will ask for the required documents for you. Once verified no such documentation will be required anymore.

Thank you but I'd prefer to get verified and fully sort out the Crypto payout procedures before any pending payout. How do we get it done?

Hi Thanks that did seem like a fishy page. Maybe eventually you'll need some kind of verified status marker for big name sellers.

For info Dan.com usernames in url Afternic and Godaddy both redirect to other usernames, whereas an unknown username normally seems to be a 404.

https://dan.com/domain-seller/sellername is the url pattern to try.

Dear @dande,

You can contact our support desk and already ask for instructions to submit the details. However, as indicated the KYC itself will only take place once you have your first sale pending which requires a BTC payout.
