I've noticed a couple of strange things lately
Copy the following domain name to the browser, what do you find?

х2.com
аpple.com

I'm sure there are many other domains like this,
I hope that you can identify the true and false, in case of being cheated
what do you think of these domains?:xf.eek:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Yeah, those are just IDN domains. They use symbols that represent the real letters.

I don't want to click on your examples since I don't know what's on the other side, but if you take the example below that I own, it shows one value to users, but to get to the domain you have to type in the Punycode.

punycode: xn--hek.net
Resulting site: ロ.net

There isn't a lot of use for these since the end users can't actually type in the website easily, but I have a few.

Most sites identify the IDN domains that are in auction or listed as a BIN.

I usual manually type in important domains and then bookmark them.

It's a good habit to have
  • I usually complete it automatically in the browser
