This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

why is everything .vc selling for 1000s lately. I think most us are in wrong biz lol

The more that good domains are taken and used in .com, the more demand there'll be for other TLDs like .co, io and .VC.

Granted .com is king but most end users can not afford six-7 figures for their ideal one word domain in .com, that's if it's even for sale.

Thank you so much for sharing this as I was not knowing about DAO. I was thinking why this domain was sold so high and now thinking that it was sold at very cheap price :)

It's beauty of this sector that we need to learn & get updated about new things science, tech, trends every time much before it becomes normal norm for the world.

Thank you!

Your sales are really inspirational for many of us. As @blogspotter suggested, I'll also request you to share your strategy of selecting domains to register and where and how you list them for such a quick flip that too at good price.

Will be really thankful.

golddustinterior(dot) com Sold for $875
I didn't even list it for sale anywhere, but wanted to use it for myself, then received this offer of $500 from a Godaddy broker on behalf of the Seller, negotiated it upto $875
Cost price was around: $27
Hold time: just 1 month
(No Commission paid as I never listed it for sale, all commissions paid by buyer)

Problem is, what you ask for (sharing) will be quite depressing. Factors are, in order: Domain experience, large budget ( 5 to 6 fig ), business experience and tools. First two are out of reach for beginners. I select my names straight from experience (fastest way) and can parse a thousand names within 5 minutes or less without missing something good. No special plan for which names to get.

Not a huge one, but I'm happy with this sale. The $199 price was again a winner :)

2 sales this week. Both BIN via Sedo

Ratoba // com $599

Neogix // com $799

Both regged on drop for $1.27 each on the Fasthost special in 2017 plus 3 renewals so about $27 invested in each.

Neogix sold TODAY via Sedo MLS 8:30am and the funds were deposited in my PayPal account at 3:30pm. Unbelievable!

V/R/p/i/n/b/a/l/l (.com)

Pretty sure it's Zen Studios, pinball specialists (developer of Pinball FX2 / FX3). They've been recently acquired by Embracer Group (entertainment company worth ~$1.25 bn). And they are converting a lot of their older tables to VR.
