Today when i opened one of my domain which uses Afternic nameserver, it opened this new designer landing page, initially i just panicked thinking whether this domain dropped and someone catched it, but it seems Afternic redesign the lander, what you guys think about this new lander? I felt the old one very archaic and not user friendly, this one cool clean and in single glance one can identify this domain is for sale. I felt anything better than the old one. what about you?

Their reaching, their trying everything. Because the trend show's their hope lays in " king of domains " auctions and portfolio's , the only thing propping the earnings up. That and accounting scheme's #yahoofinance #google #godaddy #cnn #MarketWatch #Seeking Alpha #Bloomberg #Forbes

That animation shows up as a loading animation between pages

Okay. Didn't see this myself on these landers. But I do recognize that animation from registering a domain at Godaddy.

looks excellent. so glad they're doing it on godaddy.com instead of afternic.com too
Why? I want it at Afternic too.

What is the point of not showing the price?

If you have domains 10k+, this lander would make sense.

But most domainers have $3K- domains, or even in hundreds. Such buys are impulse buys. 2 out of 3 buyers might walk away if they don't see a price and have to call someone. I mean I would, and everyone else I asked also would.

Instead, having a price there ensures a quick impulse buy. Next morning, yeah buyers' remorse but by now it is already paid (usually) so too late, deal done.

Is it just me or do all the new godaddy animations and graphics look like something out of the nineties.

I think the design of the new BIN lander they're still testing is better than the design of the new lander that's now in production and available to all of us.

More trust from endusers who don't know Afternic. I think for a non-domainer seeing GoDaddy logos on the afternic.com lander looks a little confusing/sketchy at first, so having a BIN lander on the godaddy.com domain adds authority and looks safer to the buyer

agreed I have more than 100 domains listed with $50 Bins on Afternic so make offer does not fit for my needs. Make offer page works only for 5 figure domains

The domain used in the example GD BIN landing handwrapper.com is using Uniregistry nameservers, it got me thinking they are working on something involving Uni's domain management system.

It is interesting how they will rolling this out, however I would love to have the option to camel case the listings, especially with impulse buys this would make significant difference.

Hopefully we will be able to change the letter case in the listings.

Instead of 'handwrapper.com' we can change it to 'HandWrapper.com".

Still testing. We want to make sure the performance is there before we release to all.

will the lander be for domains at GoDaddy?or for all domains listed at Afternic no matter which registrar.

like how we use ns3.Afternic.com

it'll be a nameserver setting to get those templates, so it won't matter what registrar you use

@Paul Nicks - it is good that Afternic is developing new landers, but... One of the issues is the following - if the domain has BIN and fast transfer, then it would not be instantly transferred if purchased on afternic website. Afternic will either ask to push the domain or to provide authcode. It is not good. Why have instant transfer then? What prevents afternic from performing either action instantly (push or authcode retreival)? This thing alone makes afternic hosted landers not too relevant (for BIN + instant transfer domains). Any plans to change this?

BIN landers will use GoDaddy cart to checkout, not Afternic

Looks great. Just wish there was an option to display a BIN on them. I know I get dissuaded whenever I'm prompted to call a number or fill out a long form.

Ecryptoexchange.com presents the long awaited GoDaddy BIN lander (apparently due to be rolled out over the next few months).

I've encountered a few of the 'new' landers researching names and thus far none are displaying any use of camel case. If the ability to change capitalization is not available, I will not be using the 'new' landers.
