Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

I was the Australian doctor on the WHO's COVID-19 mission to China. Here's what we found about the origins of the coronavirus

Dominic Dwyer is the director of public health pathology at NSW Health Pathology, Westmead Hospital and University of Sydney.

As I write, I am in hotel quarantine in Sydney, after returning from Wuhan, China. There, I was the Australian representative on the international World Health Organization's (WHO) investigation into the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Much has been said of the politics surrounding the mission to investigate the viral origins of COVID-19. So it's easy to forget that behind these investigations are real people...

That's the population of Kansas City. Imagine if everyone in the city had perished in the space of one year.

Imagine if people looked beneath the surface and innerstood the true nature of the plandemic scam....

You know...like Dr. Paul does...

Tricking the novel coronavirus with a fake “handshake”

Fool the novel coronavirus once and it can’t cause infection of cells, new research suggests.

Scientists have developed protein fragments – called peptides – that fit snugly into a groove on the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein that it would normally use to access a host cell. These peptides effectively trick the virus into “shaking hands” with a replica rather than with the actual protein on a cell’s surface that lets the virus in.

Previous research has determined that the novel coronavirus binds to a receptor protein on a target cell’s surface called ACE2. This receptor is located on certain types of human cells in the lung and nasal cavity, providing SARS-CoV-2 many access points to infect the body.

For this work, Ohio State University scientists designed and tested peptides that resemble ACE2 enough to convince the coronavirus to bind to them, an action that blocks the virus’s ability to actually get inside the cell.

It saddens me to see so many people who have died needlessly, I sympathize with their families specially those who didn't even have the chance to see their loved ones in the ICU and other places that were under lockdown.

Many mistakes have happened as it seems that the whole World dropped the ball when it came to dealing with this Pandemic, but if we don't learn from these mistakes that means that those mistakes are bound to happen again and many more people will have to die in the future.

Right now it seems like the World is in shambles in so many fronts, Whether it's the Pandemic, Global Warming, and all the Environmental Damage, or the issues with AI, Automation, and nano, genetic, and quantum engineering, or the political, religious, racial, and economical upheaval and turmoil that we have recently been experiencing or whether it's how we plan for all the natural and manmade disasters that could adversely affect the World, we need to come up with a scientific and logical way of problem solving that can address all these issues at the same time and at the Global (Universal) level.

We can't waste anymore time on giving the same speeches over and over again and having useless Conferences that only make us feel good for a short while without producing any concrete results.

Here are the solutions that come to my mind:

- We need to address all the problems that the Humanity and our Home Planet are facing right now and at the same time.

- We need to make some long term plans for the next 50 to 100 (or even more) years in addition to having some short term plans for addressing all the issues and problems that are facing Us and our Home Planet at the present time.

- We need to establish a new Global organization or task force which its sole purpose is going to be addressing, analyzing, and problem solving when it comes to the so many issues and problems that are currently ailing Humanity and our Home Planet and to anticipate and be prepared for dealing with any manmade or natural disasters, catastrophes, or threats that might arise in the future.

But the first step towards saving Humanity and our Home Planet is for everyone to free themselves from all the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines that have failed us and try to ascend to a higher level of thinking and existence by finding common grounds over the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion.

The ultimate question is whether we as the human race and the new artificial lifeforms that we are giving birth to are capable of becoming a Righteous Force For Good or not,

And the answer is NO as long as we keep being enslaved by all our bad human characteristics and as long as we insist on clinging to all our old and misguided political, religious, racial, genetical, and economical agendas and affiliations that have made such a big mess out of this Would of ours.

This is the time for action, so for God’s sake don’t just give the same old speeches in the upcoming conferences and then go back to your mansions thinking that now everything is going to be okay, because if we as the human race are not willing or able to do the right thing then not only that everything is not going to be okay, but that things will actually start getting much worse as the lack of care and the divisions, animosities, and hostilities amongst us will certainly lead to the total collapse of our civilization and our Home Planet in the near future.

So let's create:

The Global Security, Safety, and Preparedness Task Force

(or Organization, or both)

And let's start tackling all the problems that Humanity and our Home Planet are facing in a scientific, logical, and compassionate way before we pass the point of no return.

Simply speaking while infected can potentially spread COVID-19
simplyspeaki.jpg

COVID-19 can spread from asymptomatic but infected people through small aerosol droplets in their exhaled breath. Most studies of the flow of exhaled air have focused on coughing or sneezing, which can send aerosols flying long distances.

However, speaking while near one another is also risky since the virus can be ejected by merely talking.

In Physics of Fluids, scientists in Japan use smoke and laser light to study the flow of expelled breath near and around two people conversing in various relative postures commonly found in the service industry, such as in hair salons, medical exam rooms, or long-term care facilities.

In this study, electronic cigarettes were used to produce artificial smoke consisting of droplets about one-tenth micron in diameter, similar to the size of a virus particle. The liquid used in these vaping devices, a mixture of glycerin and propylene glycol, produces a cloud of tiny droplets that scatter light from a laser, allowing visualization of airflow patterns.

"We analyzed the characteristics of exhalation diffusion with and without a mask when a person was standing, sitting, facing down, or lying face up," said author Keiko Ishii.

Coronaangst ridden? Overzoomed? Covid inspires 1,200 new German words

From coronamüde (tired of Covid-19) to Coronafrisur (corona hairstyle), a German project is documenting the huge number of new words coined in the last year as the language races to keep up with lives radically changed by the pandemic.

The list, compiled by the Leibniz Institute for the German Language, an organisation that documents German language in the past and present, already comprises more than 1,200 new German words – many more than the 200 seen in an average year.

It includes feelings many can relate to, such as overzoomed (stressed by too many video calls), Coronaangst (when you have anxiety about the virus) and Impfneid (envy of those who have been vaccinated).

The reference source does not have China AFAIK. But I would not trust any China provided data, which is likely to be highly manipulated.

I wonder if their numbers could be verified by some independent international organizations or bodies.

Nevertheless it would have been good to have their true stats considering that they have one of the biggest populations.

China is there in the reference source #84. I missed it first.

Though I doubt that is the real figure.

The early figures may have been underreported, but I honestly don't believe that China has much of an issue with Covid now.

From what I have seen and read, they are aggressively locking down people and areas whenever there is the slightest hint of an outbreak.

https://covid19.who.int/region/wpro/country/cn

WHO reports 101,750 confirmed cases, and 4,842 deaths.

I wonder if anyone has done any research to find the common factors and denominators between the Countries that have the highest levels of cases and fatalities (compared to their overall population) versus the common factors and denominators between the Countries with the lowest levels of cases and fatalities.

I assume that the main factor would probably be the willingness of people to wear masks and do physical distancing from the very beginning of the Pandemic.

We need to learn some lessons here so that the same mistakes are not going to be repeated for the next Pandemic.

Dr. Gates is the best.

Yes.

Dr. Gates is a true humanitarian and a real hero.

Hopefully there is a project to clone him so he can be a teacher to all the children he loves so much for generations to come.

I believe the common factor in the countries that have gotten the virus under control is political cohesion and bi-partisanship from the beginning of the pandemic, and the general publics willingness to participate and temporarily cede some personal freedoms during outbreaks.

Considering the power the communist party has over all aspects of everything, I have no faith any 'official' information is accurate regarding infections/deaths coming out of China. I only added Russia because more information is being shared although I've been told by more than one person that lives there the numbers are still underreported.
