Hi all -

I’m dissatisfied with my account exec at godaddy. The previous exec was amazing but the new one is subpar. I’m also, coincidentally, experiencing problems accessing auctions and even transferring domains between my account and my wife’s. It’s sad because the shift in customer relations and control panel failure is forcing the move @Joe Styler

Thoughts on where to move 600 domains? I like Name.com for sure but interested in your thoughts.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It depends. There are differences between them, pros and cons.

I vote for Dynadot, Namesilo would be next.

These two have both Afternic Fast Transfer and SedoMLS integrations.

I would also recommend Dynadot.

$7.99 .com transfers using coupon codes and with over 600 domains it should be possible to reach super bulk status which comes with $8.50 .com renewals.

They have a great UI which saves a lot of time, free privacy, good support and nice promos.

You will be assigned an account rep at some point if you spend enough money with them.

I have all my names at Hexonet. Never used them until 3 or 4 years ago and now have all my names there. I always used Name.com, Dynaot and GD in years gone by.

Recently I saw a platform, ddd dot com, on which I put several domain names

Most of my names are at Epik which I can't fault and recently won a couple of Dynadot auctions and have to say they seem really good too.

@Rob Monster epik CEO.

Have yet to see Godaddy CEO post here.

I love epik! Epik is the best. Legendary service.

Dynadot, Namesilo or Epik

Dynadot is extremely reliable, great pricing, never had a problem with them.

Namesilo is also a serious registrar.

Epik's problem is they aren't part of Afternic fast transfer anymore but if you don't use Afnic a lot you can give them a try.

Hope this helps

name.com is nice in some ways...but in even more ways it sucks.

I'd still pick dyna.

nothing is perfect. so u just pick lesser evil.

there are nice things about epik too...but I find their ui is about one of least friendly around.

go with dyna

ps. gd has the strongest buying selling market around...for most domainers.. I mean really it is beautiful when a gd sold domain sits in yer gd accnt and boom instant transfer.. no locks..no extra work.. this is a solid reason for many to have names on gd..but frankly aside from this... no club means terrible prices... and the ui is not the best.. their market is their strength...

I am sorry to hear that. Can you send me some more info in PM so I can see what happened?

For me the winner is Fabulous. It has all the bells and whistles you can imagine at your disposal. Any changes you make on your domain are instant, very easy and logical (lock, unlock, transfers, NS, url forwarding, autho number, etc) They are NOT expensive at all! Transfer in, is less the $8 (I am sure you can negotiate excellent price for 500 domains.

No am not working for them or getting any commission. Have been with them for 5 years, then raise price slightly so being complete idiot I went to epik. Now after year I am moving all my domains back to Fabulous. Learned the hard way.

Ouch, you were a domainer with 600 domains on GD?!

Move to Dynadot or Epik ASAP. At least move to Namecheap which has a good transfer promo ending tomorrow!

It's a difficult question. You may think of a distribution strategy. Some here and some there.

I like Porkbun's UX, so I would use that in case of more than 500 domains

@Keith - Prepay only $500 and get $8.50 pricing at Dynadot on.com. Free privacy and partial privacy. Great control panel. Get an account at an excellent Registrar. Consistently rated at the top in NPs annual survey of registrars. Excellent support. It's the best kept secret on the internet. They are the best Registrar I have ever used/experienced. Generous renewal terms (30 days at same price) + $10 for another 8 days. Very user/domainer friendly.

If only they'd respond to the Oxley situation.

Wouldnt that impact you? 500+ domains? Still crickets Dynadot. Maybe Godaddy is much worse, but it would be nice to hear from Dynadot...
