Hey everyone,

Just put up a new blog post in regards to Afternic and why I love it as a way to passively sell domain names.

I'll discuss:
  • Why you should implement the Afternic platform into your strategy in 2021
  • Why it's much different than outbound marketing
  • The various pricing options Afternic offers for sellers
  • Plus more...

You can view the blog post here.

Thanks!

Just read your blog, nice insight on how Afternic works. I have listed one domain at Afternic, but after reading your blog, I'll park all names at Afternic now.

Thanks again for insight. Many newbie like me will be thanking you.

Thanks for checking out my blog! Yes, I think everyone should incorporate afternic into their marketing strategy.

Keep in mind though, you don't necessarily need to PARK your domains with them. I was only referring to listing your domains on their platform when you want to put them up for sale. I generally tend to park my domain names on the Uniregistry platform.

afternic is not good, much better to have own landingpages

The advantage of Afternic is they are having collaboration with domain registrars, this makes easy for us to spread word about our domain and increase our chance of selling the domain, this is what I feel, @Omar Negron is the right person to share more thoughts on the same.

1. Most buyers will never see the landing page if they go via GoDaddy. They just do a search, see the name in result, and they buy or contact GoDaddy.

2. You could list on AN and not use their landing page. I agree that the sooner GD implements the new landing page that aligns with what works for others, the better.

Yes, a landing page is great if you want to secure your own leads that type in your domain in the search bar. This doesn't always happen though. What happens much more is people using a popular registrar to search a name that they want to acquire and that is where Afternic helps.

Yes! By spreading your name across potentially thousands of registrars, it helps more potential buyers see your domain names.
