I picked this one up in July 22,2009 TBR but I no longer own it now.

I picked up proclaim.ca in TBR in 2007 for $60 USD. It was back in the day when I was building my .CA portfolio. I dropped it a few years later and it was picked up in 2010. 11 years later it’s back in next weeks TBR.

The .ca market and drops are something else but at least they are affordable.
I used to drop things only to see them get picked up on the TBR so now I don't drop anything and just hold on to all the domains, less painful

Even less than a year ago there was more opportunity in the TBR with many good names available after the drop. Now, it seems, everything gets picked up even the not so desirable ones. Maybe more competition in general. Miss the old days, last drop all my picks went to the auction.

I think the main factor is the fact that we are in a pandemic. There are more people trying to get online which has created more competition. I don’t believe it’s simply just more investors it could be the fact those existing ones are simply willing to pay more. I had the most inquiries ever in .CA in 2020. This year is turning out more like last year with inquiries pretty consistent every week.

The amount of registrations last year were at record numbers. I imagine that will continue for the majority of this year also. It could be the new trend moving forward.
