Yes. Domain sellers should do themselves a favor and stop using those valuations. They're always working against the potential future value.

I agree that the sale should be verified. Maybe @Ron Jackson can help us with that. However, if it is a money laundry scheme, then wouldn't you think it would be a profound gaffe to announce it to the world via tweet or blog post?

No, it's not money laundry scheme. I believed king will not do this.



When you become a famous people, you may received an invite to have a insider deal with a insider that have power to buy a product / service for their company. Then, they will split the $$$ according to their private agreement after the deal.

Not many people can rejects the bait. No matters which products or service and they just keep happening, that's the reason why many people want to become a famous person.

Many years ago, a Chinese business insider want to have a deal with me and I rejected it.

$1.8m price + royalties of $1.8m in 10 years. Well that's possibly not all cash deal, but still huge win for @Rick Schwartz. Cograts.

The domain was listed for 1.8M and he sold it for double that through negotiation. Let that sink in.

Let's be honest, if any of us saw this on auctions today, how many would pay more than the estibot appraisal? Let alone 4, 5, 6, 7 figures as an end-user. Ridiculous. But it only takes one buyer who is in love with a name.
